Summary:

Territory Manager, Wales (ideally based around Hereford), reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. Responsible for generating new business and developing existing business within the territories for ostomy care.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute as a member of the sales team, to the formulation of the overall Strategic Plan for the business
  • Manage relationships with all Stoma Care departments in Acute Trusts in line with the business sales strategy and Annual Business Plans
  • Promote the use of Hollister brand products to Stoma Care Nurses in hospitals and health clinics to increase sales and market share
  • Using market place & competitor knowledge develop, agree and achieve the annual and cycle territory sales targets
  • Manage, negotiate and develop business opportunities in all accounts, particularly in the designated ‘A’ accounts, in achievement of sales and margin targets
  • Produce annual promotional plans for the ‘A’ accounts in conjunction with the Sales Manager and Product Manager and within agreed budget guidelines
  • Ensure that all major accounts files are maintained and regularly updated
  • Analyse the territory features and determine a plan for the most effective coverage through selective account targeting
  • In conjunction with Key Account Management and Sales Manager identify and implement product conversion campaigns with selected DACs
  • Regularly liaise with the National Sales Manager, Product Manager and Marketing Manager
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in stoma care practices and in Primary Care Trusts and Acute Trusts activities as relating to the provision of stoma care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account profiles and records
  • To maintain and develop own knowledge of competitors and products and share awareness with all colleagues

 

Essential Functions of the Role**:

  • Must hold a valid UK Driving License
  • Must be able to travel within the UK

 

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2 – 5

 

Education Requirements:

  • Degree or evidence of equivalent academic achievement is highly desirable
