Summary:
This position’s main responsibilities are financial planning, reporting, performance analysis and evaluation of Dansac & Hollister Nordics Ostomy and Continence Business Units.

This position works with the Finance Manager to support the completion of the Annual Operating Plan, Midyear Plan, and the Strategic Plan processes for the Nordic group.

This position supports Business Unit management, particularly the Sales & Marketing Directors, in supporting optimum business decision processes for growth and profitability. As such, the position’s key tasks are to understand the markets and the business’ performance within it, monitor program effectiveness, produce routine reporting of Key Performance Indicators, assist in the preparation of annual plans and on-going forecasts, and recommending actions to management.

This position works with the Nordic Shared Service Centre to assist with statutory reporting requirements in the Nordics by providing a business context and understanding, including month end and year and accounting processes.

Responsibilities:
1.    To support the Finance Manager with the annual and midyear planning processes including preparation and review of full P&L plans for each country, timetable management, sales and opex targeting by country, ability to explain key drivers of actual vs plan performance, and plan presentation reviews.
2.    Preparation and analyses of daily, weekly and monthly sales and cost reports and analyses, to provide the business units with suitable information to facilitate control of the businesses.
3.    Liaison with Nordics Shared Services on month-end management accounts to ensure their accuracy.
4.    Review of financial information with Business Unit Management, highlighting issues and opportunities and to ensure BU Management understand the financial position of the business. To provide financial input and analyses to support decisions on Business Unit strategies, tactics and measurement of return on investment.
5.    To seek continuous improvement within the function and the wider business, enhancing business intelligence, creating/improving reports and reporting processes, driving efficiencies and ensuring work is serving the needs of the business leaders and enhancing their ability to make decisions.
6.    To provide ad-hoc reviews / reports and undertake specific projects as requested.


Work Experience Requirements
•    Years’ experience : at least 5 years
Education Requirements
•    Degree in Finance / Accounting (or equivalent)

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge
•    Previous planning and/or analysis roles
•    Corporate/Divisional experience as well as business unit experience
•    Knowledge of computing/planning systems; Knowledge of SAP reporting applications would be a distinct advantage
•    Excellent MS Excel user
•    Knowledge of Power BI / Power Pivot preferable
•    Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively; ability to build key internal relationships
