Summary

The Product Manager – Continence Care (CC) Marketing is part of the US CC marketing team and responsible for developing, executing, and continuously improving B2B and B2C marketing strategies that grow CC product lines, drive clinical satisfaction, and make life more rewarding for customers who use Hollister’s CC products and services.  This position requires the ability to build product marketing plans that drive results, communicate powerfully across multiple audiences, and foster cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Hollister Incorporated is operating in a hybrid-working environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product leader to drive, measure, monitor, and adjust strategies to grow specific product lines in the market with clinicians (B2B) and customers (B2C), connecting marketing activity to business objectives.
  • Partner with the business unit and global marketing to launch new products and line extensions through the development of business cases and go-to-market strategies.
  • Actively listen to sales teams, customers, and clinicians to identify opportunities and develop strategies that enable growth, including the development of commercial and sales enablement tools.
  • Build trust with key cross-functional stakeholders including compliance, market access, finance, and sales to ensure effective market planning and implementation.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans including pricing, operational expense budgets, promotion, timelines, demand plans, forecasting, and report out on key results.
  • Travel with commercial teams to build relationships with customers and channel partners, gather insights, and innovate new ways to serve the market.
  • Powerfully deliver key ideas to internal and external audiences at commercial meetings, sales training, events, and other forums as needed.
  • Lead projects that accelerate the business forward, contribute to the teams’ success, and impact strategic objectives.
  • Monitor competitor activity in the market, developing strategies to respond and leap ahead to maintain and grow share.

 

Essential Functions of the Role

  • Ability to operate a computer and utilize standard office equipment
  • Ability to travel by car, airplane, and train (domestic and internationally) approximately 25% of time 
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (i.e. for in-services, product trainings, conferences) 
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds 

 

Work Experience Requirements

  • 5-8 years overall work experience
  • At least 3 years of product management, sales, marketing, or other commercially focused experience
  • Experience driving product development life cycles for existing and new products
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience

 

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge

  • Fluency in English language (both verbal and written)
  • Consultative, forward thinking, and strong negotiating skills.
  • Radically candid across organization.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrates advanced ability to analyze and interpret data, communicating complex concepts simply.
  • Experience influencing and creating a compelling reason for change.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels of the organization combined with strong presentation, writing, editing, and public speaking skills.
  • Experience in the medical, med tech, pharmaceutical, or other technical industry a plus.
  •  Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems (Salesforce) a plus.
  • Experience with Marketing Automation systems (Pardot) a plus.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office package including Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Advanced level skills a plus.
