Summary:

The purpose of this position is to support the Kirksville manufacturing facility in assuring quality products

by performing process capability studies, determining process improvements, instituting corrective action

for process & Quality System deficiencies, and partnering with Kirksville operations in achieving plant

objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

•Plan, coordinate, execute, and document process capability studies

•Plan, coordinate, execute, and document process improvement studies

•Perform and document investigations, including root cause analysis for customer complaints, scrap,

rejects, etc.

•Support Operations & GQM strategic plans in leading or supporting projects

•Plan, coordinate, and document Quality Plans

•Plan, coordinate, and document work instructions

•Plan, coordinate, test/inspection methods including the purchase of equipment

•Conduct training on defect awareness, statistical techniques, and good manufacturing practices

•Plan, conduct, and document Internal Audits

 

Essential Functions of the Role**:

· Time spent using PC or keyboard

· Walking large plant floor area.

· Considerable verbal interface/communication

Work Experience Requirements

· Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2-5

· Experience in plastic injection molding. 3years experience desired

· Quality engineering experience preferred

· Technical knowledge in systematic injection molding techniques preferred
