Summary:

The payroll administrator is responsible for supporting the payroll and expenses within our business. This position reports to the Accounting Supervisor and has no direct reports.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of the payroll inputs – new hires, terminations, and changes;
  • Providing end to end payroll processing and ensures employees’ payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner; 
  • Reviewing payroll reports including computation of pay and associated deduction and reconciling them against payroll inputs.
  • Preparing required tax filings and other reporting such as statutory and third-party payments;
  • Work with the Global Travel Team on travel system configuration and support (including Concur)
  • Train associates on travel policies, processes and procedures and deal with queries on our expense system.
  • Month end close – Support the preparation of periodic results in accordance with US GAAP & Irish GAAP (journals, data reporting on both payroll and expenses).
  • Audit compliance – Support internal and external audit requests, providing information and ad-hoc requests.
  • On-boarding/New Hire Orientation training on payroll and expense systems
  • Troubleshoot technical issues for employees within multiple cloud platforms
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting related projects across multiple systems in partnership with the travel management company.
  • Other project work – ad-hoc basis identifying and delivering improvement opportunities

 

Work Experience Requirements

3+ years’ experience working in a Finance function.

 

Education Requirements

Primary degree level 7 or higher in a Finance or related discipline

 

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge

Advanced MS Excel skills including XLookups, Pivot Tables.

SAP experience desirable.

Power BI experience desirable
