Responsibilities:

  • Ability to perform accurately and efficiently all duties, handle multiple tasks as the same time at a fast pace, and to prioritize work
  • Ability to work well in team environment with production teams, Team Leaders and QA management
  • Proactive and reactive in 5S
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively in order to communicate efficiently with suppliers, engineers and production teams
  • Ability to investigate cause(s) for quality defects when necessary
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Control Room requirements
  • Actively participate in team meetings and goal setting/accomplishments
  • Volunteer services and/or knowledge on team projects and Team Engagement Roles
  • Ability to use problem solving/lean tools to resolve team issues
  • Support and practice current policies
  • Regularly uses effective communication skills in giving/receiving feedback to resolve conflict situations
  • Performs other duties as directed by Team Leader

 

Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Effectively operate specific test equipment and calibrate according to specifications and schedules
  • Perform quality audits on materials at various levels, document the results
  • Provide non-conforming materials for rework procedures where applicable
  • Extensive knowledge of electronic programs and other relevant computer resources to communicate, reference requirements, manage inventory and store results
  • Ability to pull and submit radiation dose, bio-burden, water test and any other special non-routine tests on materials and products as required
  • Routinely aid operations with quality training (specifications, drawings, measuring)

 

  • Coordination with operations to prioritize daily work schedule

 

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Routinely perform random audits on other processes within the facility
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Quality Engineers

 

Physical Requirements of the Role:

  • The auditor must have sufficient eyesight to read various equipment and gauges along with manual dexterity to perform various functional tests on products/materials
  • Ability to push and pull up to 500 pounds with a hand truck
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel and crouch
  • Ability to frequently twist, constantly reach while standing and sitting
  • Ability to constantly stand and frequently walk and sit

Must be computer literate
