Purpose: Provide expert clinical education, consultation, and change management to enable safe, effective adoption of the company’s medical devices across care settings (e.g., ostomy, continence and critical care). Partner with customers and internal teams to design and deliver evidence‑based education, support product evaluations and conversions, and elevate clinical outcomes and user experience. Gather voice‑of‑customer insights to inform product improvements, market development, and training content. Operate as a trusted clinical resource while upholding professional standards, regulatory requirements, and a strong focus on equitable, inclusive care.
Responsibilities
• Design, deliver, and continuously improve education programs (in‑person and virtual), including in‑services, workshops, and train‑the‑trainer sessions tailored to diverse learner groups.
• Provide clinical consultation to support safe product use, evaluations, and conversions; develop implementation plans, success measures, and follow‑up to ensure sustained adoption.
• Assess customer needs; develop tools, job aids, and clinical resources to address practice gaps and drive consistent, evidence‑based use of products.
• Serve as a primary clinical contact for assigned accounts; coordinate with Sales/Marketing to plan education aligned to customer goals and patient outcomes (non‑quota clinical role).
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals, professional associations, key opinion leaders, and patient/community groups; represent the company at conferences and educational events.
• Capture and synthesize feedback from clinicians and product users; share insights to inform product enhancements, competitive intelligence, and content development.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education and participation in relevant professional organizations; model best practices and adult‑learning principles.
• Document activities, outcomes, and insights in required systems; comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and data privacy requirements.
Essential Functions of the Role
• Ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel, with flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends to meet education needs.
• Ability to deliver group and 1:1 education (standing for extended periods, use of audiovisual tools), and to communicate complex clinical information clearly to varied audiences.
• Ability to occasionally move training materials and demo kits (up to ~25 lb/11 kg).
• Valid licensure/credentials and work authorization as required by region.
