The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customers in the private Hollister products market across the country. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, identifying business opportunities, negotiations and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. The Key Account Manager will also monitor market trends and competitor activities and work closely with internal teams to align customer needs with the company’s solutions.
1. Relationship Management
- Establish, maintain and grow business relationships with private customers, big healthcare groups/hospital chains to understand and meet customers’ needs, preferences and business goals, consistent with the Company’s mission
- Develop and sustain relationships within all levels and departments within private customers healthcare groups and hospital chains.
2. Selling Skills
- Utilize strategic selling skills to improve market share, sales and gross profit for portfolio assignment.
- Develop thorough business plans by utilizing company strategic planning process. The planning will organize customer level sales strategies and implement tactics designed to drive sales growth.
- Conduct business reviews routinely to communicate performance.
- Manage an effective contracting process.
- Monitor performance and effectiveness of sales programs. Recommend and/or implement changes as necessary.
- Establish pricing and product positioning strategies to meet customer needs.
- Facilitate customer support initiatives and lead conflict resolution, when needed.
- Identify new ways to sell products and meet customer needs.
- Demonstrate self-initiative by creating customer focused programs in conjunction with marketing that meet specific needs.
3. Team Collaboration
- Establishes a strong internal network with departments to support positions including finance, marketing, field sales, customer service, logistics, clinical education, legal and administration
- Present ideas clearly and persuasively
4. Strategic Thinking
- Develop and implement strategies that align customers and company’s objectives
- Make market trend analysis to take data driven decisions
- Identify issues, analyze problems and develop effective solutions in a proactive way, addressing potential challenges before they escalate
