Summary:
The Master Data Governance Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive data governance program across all master data objects ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of our global master data. This person will manage all organization-wide data governance activities and will have responsibility for improving the quality and managing the protection of sensitive data. The position will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies and standards both at the business and functional area level.
The Master Data Governance Manager serves as a point of escalation for governance, data quality and protection issues and will work closely with the business and functional area leads to improve the quality and value of our core master data.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a global Data Governance framework/roadmap for our core Material Master, Customer, Supplier and Finance master data objects.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for data governance for other cross-functional master data objects.
- Assist the business with defining the roles and responsibilities for Data Owners and Data Stewards.
- Establish and lead regularly scheduled Data Governance meetings for all master data objects cross-functionally ensuring policies and SOPs are being adhered to and data governance goals are being met.
- Collaborate with Data Owners to create workflows and process changes to enhance the Data Quality of master data and other business-critical data.
- Work across different levels of the organization to identify new data governance needs to incorporate into the Data Governance policies and framework.
- Monitor and report on data quality, including identifying and resolving data issues.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data governance is integrated into all data-related projects and initiatives.
- This role is an office position, primarily sedentary
- Use a personal computer and strong proficiency in SAP S4/HANA, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and Word
- Some global travel required
Requirements:
- 8-12 years overall experience is required
- 7-10 years of Master Data Management is required
- BS or BA is required
- MBA preferred
- SAP S4/HANA Master Data experience is required
- English required
- Ability to effectively partner and communicate across company
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written) and demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple demands
- Project Management skills – relating to master data change management
- Willingness to take charge and provide direction
- Results-oriented
- SharePoint or other similar collaboration tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage through challenging situations
- Ability to develop collaborative working relationships/partnerships cross-functionally
- Ability to breakdown complex problems and projects into manageable goals
- Effective in building trust, respect and cooperation among teams

Our Total Rewards package in aggregate is above market and includes competitive pay, paid time off programs, peer-to-peer recognition, health and life insurance, wellness programs and incentives, and generous retirement savings.
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
- This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan.
