Summary:

 

The Senior Global Corporate Communications Manager is a critical, elevated role within the Global Corporate Communications Team, responsible for developing and executing internal and external communication strategies and programs that engage, inspire, and inform a global audience. This strategic role partners directly with executive leadership, HR, Marketing and global business functions to support company-wide initiatives. 

 

Working directly with and reporting to the Senior Director of Global Communications, the Senior, Global Corporate Communications Manager will serve as a trusted communications advisor and player-coach across the enterprise, supporting both strategic and day-to-day communication needs including change management initiatives, executive communications, internal events, and cultural engagement. This utility player will help develop consistent and clear internal and external communications that define, promote and champion our company’s 100 plus-year-old history and its enduring Legacy – the JDS Inc. Mission, Vision, and Immutable Principles.

Hollister Incorporated in a hybrid work environment.  A minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Libertyville, IL is required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Executive & Strategic Communications

 

  • Partner directly with senior executives to craft and deliver clear and consistent messaging that drives alignment around business goals, strategy and culture
  • Develop compelling executive speeches, presentations, talking points, and messages
  • Support executive visibility through internal and external platforms

Internal Communication & Culture Building

 

  • Lead the development and implementation of internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, reinforce Hollister’s Mission and Legacy and create and distribute high-impact messaging across intranet, digital, video and print
  • Align messaging with corporate values and key strategic initiatives

Change Management & Transformation Support

 

  • Support organizational change initiatives by developing targeted communications strategies that promote transparency, reduce uncertainty, and drive employee adoption
  • Work in partnership with HR business units, and senior leaders to align timing, tone and delivery
  • Help Associates understand they “why” behind business transformation

Event Strategy & Execution

 

  • Collaborate with the Global Events team to plan and execute global internal events (virtual, in-person, and hybrid) that inform and excite Associates.
  • Support the theme, storytelling, and production of events (Town Halls, Anniversaries, Special Events, Recognition)

Team Collaboration & Leadership

 

  • Act as a player-coach, mentoring junior members and helping team performance.
  • Contribute to the culture of the Global Corporate Communications team by promoting openness, innovation and a positive attitude.

Crisis & Issues Management

 

  • Support internal and external communication needs during crises or reputational events
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR and Regulatory on messaging and alignment response.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Number of Years’ Experience  Required: 12-15
  • Experience in Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Advertising or Communications Agency, Broadcast Journalism, Print Journalism, other Mass Media or related fields
  • Experience in HR Communications planning and execution
  • Strategic thinking, creative communications and problem-solving skills, along with demonstrated project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge

  • Superb oral and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and develop creative solutions that drive results 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Essential Functions of the Role:

 

Significant time devoted to both business writing and creative content, as well as considerable verbal communication in-person and virtually.

Our Total Rewards package in aggregate is above market and includes competitive pay, paid time off programs, peer-to-peer recognition, health and life insurance, wellness programs and incentives, and generous retirement savings.

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $130,000 - $177,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
  • This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan.
  • The Company’s health and welfare benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision, spending/savings accounts, disability, company paid (parental and caregiver) leaves, statutory leaves/disability programs, accident, life, wellbeing, education assistance, adoption assistance, and voluntary benefit programs.
