Summary:
The Senior Manager, Global Compliance Operations oversees all operational aspects of the Company’s Global Compliance Program. This role shapes compliance strategy, drives operational excellence, and ensures the compliance framework is robust, strategic, and fully integrated globally across all functions and departments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive and enhance compliance strategy to align with regulations, business objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Program Oversight: Direct and supervise day-to-day operations of the Compliance function, including resource allocation and performance evaluation.
  • Policy Governance: Oversee creation, revision, and dissemination of compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and effectively communicated.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on laws and regulations impacting medical device technology and adjust compliance programs as needed.
  • Audit & Investigation Management: Lead or assist in investigations of noncompliance and help develop corrective action plans.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Oversee risk assessment processes, identify gaps, and lead corrective action efforts.
  • Education & Training: Direct design and implementation of compliance education and training for all staff levels.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Develop metrics and prepare regular compliance reports on trends, risks, and program effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, including compliance team, senior management, regional units, HR, Internal Audit, IT, to enhance the Global Compliance Program.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Champion a culture of compliance aligned with the Company’s principles of Stewardship, Service, Integrity, and Dignity of the Person.
  • Vendor & Third-Party Oversight: Responsible for due diligence, education, and monitoring of third-party intermediaries for compliance.
  • Resource Development: Identify and leverage resources, technologies, and networks to improve compliance operations.
  • Budget Management: Manage the Compliance department’s budget for optimal resource use.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assess and improve the Global Compliance Program through benchmarking and gap analysis.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Must have global healthcare compliance experience, preferably in medical device technology.

 

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years’ healthcare compliance experience, preferably in medical devices
  • Global operations experience with increasing responsibility
  • Strategic thinking and international project execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strategic planning and business process administration
  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and pragmatic problem-solving
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Occasional travel

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • JD or master’s degree preferred
  • Compliance certification preferred but not required

 

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Project management expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Adaptability to technology platforms, including helpline and LMS programs
  • Ability to generate metrics, conduct electronic monitoring, collect data, and prepare Board/Audit committee materials
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $126,464 - $198,729 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.​
  • If applicable: This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Secure Start Bonus Plan.
