Summary

The Lead Analyst International Tax will focus on international tax aspects of accounting for income taxes and tax compliance. This role serves as a lead individual contributor and subject-matter expert, supporting complex international tax provision calculations, U.S. federal income tax reporting, and global transparency requirements. This position partners closely with Global Finance, Treasury, and Tax stakeholders to drive technical accuracy, consistent application of policy, and continuous process improvement across international tax activities. 

 

Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid work enviornment. Employees are expected to come into the office a minimum of 4 days per week. Sponsorship to work in the US is not available at this time.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of international tax calculations including Subpart F, BEAT, foreign tax credits, basis, GILTI, FDII, etc.
  • Compute current earnings and profits for foreign subsidiaries and maintain accumulated E&P and PTEP pools. 
  • Serve as a primary technical resource for U.S. federal income tax reporting by coordinating data collection and reviewing international tax forms and disclosures (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8992, 8990, 8975, 1118). 
  • Coordinate with local contacts to gather information required to complete Pillar 2 obligations, including GIR, QDMTT, and any local registrations and notifications.
  • Provide and review inputs to the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) model, analyze drivers of rate changes, and communicate impacts to internal stakeholders.
  • Gather, review and analyze income tax provision calculations and supporting documentation from foreign business units, including components of income tax expense, deferred taxes, taxes payable, and uncertain tax provisions. 
  • Maintain, review, and support tax provision and compliance systems and data, including OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax. 
  • Partner with Treasury and other functions to support international operational activities, including dividends, intercompany financing, withholding taxes, and foreign exchange considerations. 
  • Monitor global tax law developments, regulatory guidance, and emerging international tax frameworks, and assess potential impacts to the organization. 
  • Identify, recommend, and drive enhancements to international tax processes, controls, and documentation.

  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying process improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8-12 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

  • Advanced degree, CPA or equivalent professional certification. 
  • Experience with global ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Hands-on experience with tax provision and compliance systems, including OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax. 
  • Understanding of ASC 740 accounting for income taxes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and manipulate complex financial and tax data sets. 
  • Experience supporting multinational organizations with complex global tax footprints.

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
  • This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan.
