We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager, U.S. Ostomy & Key Accounts to lead one of the most important and impactful businesses in our portfolio. As the leader of the U.S. Ostomy business, you will have full responsibility for the business's performance, overseeing Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Key Account teams while owning the overall P&L. You will set the vision and strategic direction for the business, identify new opportunities for growth, and build high-performing teams that deliver exceptional customer experiences and sustainable results.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen, partnering across the organization to develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan, expand market share, accelerate revenue growth, and strengthen profitability. This position is based in Libertyville, IL with an onsite requirement of 4 days in office weekly when not traveling.
Job Responsibilities
Sales:
- Implement best practices for territory planning and use of Salesforce.
- Design sales objectives with the team, develop the tactical elements of the sales plan and monitor achievements.
- Analyze sales results for each region and initiate corrective actions.
- Manage sales and margins in line with the Annual Operating Plan
Communication:
- Represent the BU business and regularly liaise with other leaders on the product and service business units.
- Provide frequent business updates (incl. sales performance review and KPl's).
- Collaborate or lead cross functional projects.
Leadership:
- In collaboration with Human Resources and Finance, establish a staffing plan and adjust the plan according to changes in volume to achieve the strategic goals.
- Evaluate performance of employees to meet departmental and organizational needs, objectives and prioritize customer service expectations and satisfaction.
- Drive initiatives to recruit, develop, reward and retain high performing Associates and maintain high team engagement.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, distributors, and retail partners.
- Develop and execute territory-specific business plans.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Deliver compelling clinical and financial proposals to decision-makers.
- Communicate effectively across internal teams and with external stakeholders.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office to manage communications and reporting.
- Conduct on-site visits to healthcare facilities, retail locations, and customer offices.
- Adhere to company policies, healthcare regulations, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and CRM systems.
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 15 pounds may be required.
- Must be able to drive and sit for extended periods during travel.
- Travel frequently within the assigned territory (30ÃÂÃÂ50%), including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
Education & Work Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 12-15 years of related experience
Education & Work Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 15+ years of experience in healthcare or medical device industry
- 10+ years of commercial leadership experience
- Progressive roles in sales, marketing and/or commercial positions
- Medical device industry experience preferred

Benefits Statement
Our Total Rewards package in aggregate is above market and includes competitive pay, paid time off programs, peer-to-peer recognition, health and life insurance, wellness programs and incentives, and generous retirement savings.
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $204,000 - $320,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
- The Company’s health and welfare benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision, spending/savings accounts, disability, company paid (parental and caregiver) leaves, statutory leaves/disability programs, accident, life, wellbeing, education assistance, adoption assistance, and voluntary benefit programs.
