Summary:

 

The primary function of this role is the responsibility of meeting our compliance needs, including The Transparency Act.  The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for the daily functions of the North America Corporate Card for non-sales employees.  The position will work with and interface with various levels of the global organization. Hollister operates in a hybrid work environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • This position is fully accountable for reviewing and analyzing data collected by Hollister Incorporated on all transfers of value that are deemed reportable under The Transparency Act (Sunshine Act) specifically:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state requirements through reviewing and analyzing data collected on all transfers of value that are deemed reportable under the Sunshine Act. This involves external reporting as well as internal analysis and communicating with internal employees on all expenses and documentation
  • Review and validate data submitted by owners to ensure that it meets the Transparency requirements for reporting; address any data quality issues or missing data with process owners; ensure reportable transactions contain appropriate evidence for the item of value
  • Direct liaison with Compliance regarding any Transparency Act matter, including training, regulations, questions, and submissions
  • Review SAP, Coupa, Concur and our invoice data to determine if it is reportable; load reportable data into Transparency database
  • Reconcile data within the Transparency database to source systems and data provided by process owners to ensure that the Transparency database contains all reportable data; escalate reconciliation issues with manager
  • Perform other duties as required including but not limited to monitoring and ensuring that identified business units regularly submit reportable items to follow-up and coordinate with process owners for any outstanding submissions
  • Onboard and train all new US Sales Associates on their Transparency Act responsibilities
  • Manage Card and Concur for North America non-sales Associates:
    • Managing the One Card inbox
    • Managing the communication and follow up regarding One Card submissions
    • Tracking and communicating the noncompliance of late envelopes
    • Cancelling cards
  • Own the 1099 process for JDS, Hollister Incorporated and KMT by ensuring all proper domestic and international vendor tax information and coding is maintained within SAP Work with internal customers and external suppliers for missing W-8 and/or W-9 information Manage the year end 1099 process for successful and timely submission annually
  • Manage the daily cash sheet posting process for JDS, Hollister Incorporated, KMT and KMT Europe.  Work closely with Treasury and Corporate Accounting to ensure postings are coded properly and timely for month end purposes
  • Complete month end accounting responsibilities of managing all Accounts Payable and One Card journal entries. This includes creating, posting into SAP and having proper support in place
  • Manage and resolve all internal and external Audit, Legal and Tax requests for Accounts Payable and One Card
  • Backup to Financial Analyst, Sales Support
  • Other duties as needed or required

 

Requirements:

 

  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 3-5
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Accounting or Compliance experience preferred
  • Advanced analytical capabilities
  • Attention to detail, an ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks
  • Well-developed organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High communication skills, both oral and written
  • Transparency Act experience a plus
  • Ability to address issues, make recommendations and resolve complex issues quickly utilizing a clear and thoughtful process
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Job will consist of sitting, talking on the phone, filing and light lifting

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.​
  • If applicable: This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Secure Start Bonus Plan. The Company also provides a unique Benefit of Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP) program based on earnings and length of service. ​
