Summary:
The Canada/US FP&A Intern will provide meaningful contributions to the finance organization with an emphasis on both daily tasks and project based work. The intern will get visibility with senior management and have the opportunity to work with other areas of the company in support of their career aspirations. Successful candidates will have advanced Excel skills, excellent communication skills and a desire to learn. Hollister operates in a hybrid work enviornment.
Responsibilities:
- Specialized report development and maintenance
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Document Process & procedures
- Perform month-end close processes and reporting
- Assist in special projects focusing on automation and compliance
- Analyze trends and variances in financial data
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Have successfully completed a minimum of at least sophomore year of college
- Have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent Communication skills (written and oral)
- Self-starter/fast learner
- Ability to report to the Libertyville, IL office during the internship (paid housing, car allowance or relocation funds is not provided)
