Summary:
Maintain service and support the daily operations of the Libertyville Corporate headquarters by trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers mechanical).
This position is onsite Monday-Friday in Libertyville, IL.
The shift for this position is 6am-2:30pm CST.
Responsibilities:
- Support maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Plumbing repair and maintenance.
- Lighting repair and maintenance.
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants.
- Support the coordinating and planning essential central services such as, landscaping, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling.
- Small project management and coordination of the work of contractors.
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships.
- Maintain campus aesthetics to class A building standards.
- Purchase Order requests and basic paperwork.
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
- Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met.
- Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers.
- Planning for future facilities development in line with strategic business objectives as requested.
- Managing and adapting to change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
- Support facility management program including preventative maintenance and life cycle requirements.
- Support facility refurbishment and renovations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.
- Support and monitor energy efficiency opportunities by identifying best practice solutions.
- Support environmental health and safety requirements.
- Participate as a team to cover various areas of responsibility
- To perform other job related duties as determined and assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Years of Experience:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Three (3) to six (6) years of experience
Specialized Skills / Technical Knowledge:
- One year of trade school studying basics in electrical, plumbing and HVAC
- Must have achieved course certification in electrical and mechanical or equivalent work experience in the trades.
- Must be capable of reading blueprints and schematic drawings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Welding skills
- Basic automobile maintenance
- Inventory control experience
- Technical Trade School Completion
- CFC certification
Physical Requirements of the role include walking, climbing, lifting (75 lbs.), carrying, pushing, pulling, jumping, driving, talking, listening, visual inspection and reading.

- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $48,908 - $76,856 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
