Summary
This position leads our Master Data strategy, enterprise wide and its supporting processes, tools and organization. This position will bring industry experience and expertise focusing primarily on the creation and governance of the master data supporting each of the company's Global Processes, including Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality Management, and Finance. The position has the primary governance ownership of the Core master data consisting of Customer, Material, and Supplier. Additionally, the position has responsibility for the Governance of the Conditional data consisting of BOM, Route, Customer Info Records, Supplier Info Records, Warehouse Storage Locations, and the other similar data objects.
Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid work environment. Employees are expected to come into the office a minimum of 4 days per week. Sponsorship to work in the US is not available at this time.
Responsibilities
Strategy
- Assess the current data governance practices and build a comprehensive strategy for managing Hollister's global master data.
- Operationalize the master data management strategy, roadmap, and prioritization process, working closely with the global process stakeholders and analytics partners.
- Promote and stabilize MDM as a core function to the overall organization.
Leadership
- Lead functional strategies and metrics that align to corporate strategies.
- Understand business challenges and provide thought leadership in addressing issues.
- Identify and implement opportunities for increased disciplined MDM practices.
- Develop and nurture operational and organizational competence.
Management and MDM Governance
- Establish policies, processes, standards, and tools in partnership with the business process owners and IT application owners to govern the Core and Conditional Data Objects.
- Create and maintain reference and meta data as a 'single source of truth' to ensure that Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Customer Service, Marketing, Reporting, Analytics, and Applications are using consistent cross-references and governance rules.
- Enable data quality assurance, data compliance, and business partner collaboration including but not limited to GUDID, EUMDR, GS1, and GDSN.
- Lead the data conversion activities for the multi-phase reimplementation of SAP, including the interim phases when ECC and S/4 are in simultaneous use.
Project/Program Management
- Collaborate across all functional areas in Enterprise to drive innovative business solutions that provide high-quality information and transactional support within Hollister to enable a strong and sustainable internal controlled environment.
- Collaborate with key stakeholder groups to align local business processes to global processes and solutions.
- Partner with relevant IT groups to ensure the successful delivery of value-added solutions consistent with the financial strategic objectives.
- Obtain and/or negotiate resources as applicable, assign tasks as appropriate, and ensure that commitments are met.
- Manage, monitor and communicate to project progress. Anticipate risks and develop proactive solutions. Highlight and address changes to the overall project or program plan.
- Provide regular updates to sponsors on the status of the overall program or project.
Business Acumen
- Effectively prepare, manage and communicate project and cost center expenses and/or capital budgets.
- Utilize resource planning to support department and corporate resource monitoring.

- Maintain secure handling of sensitive information.

- Travel frequently, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
Education & Work Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of related experience
Education & Work Preferences
- Extensive knowledge in Master Data Management as a formal practice.
- Leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries.
- Experience working with master data governance applications like SAP MDG and SAP Information Steward.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office suite of business software including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Knowledge of SAP Financial modules, including how they work and interrelate.

Our Total Rewards package in aggregate is above market and includes competitive pay, paid time off programs, peer-to-peer recognition, health and life insurance, wellness programs and incentives, and generous retirement savings.
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $151,000 - $216,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
- This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan.
