Summary
This role is to provide leadership and direction for the Global Security organization, including strategies, programs and personnel. The role is responsible for, but is not limited to: (1) the oversight of the physical security and safety of the company’s Associates and property globally; (2) the protection of company Intellectual Property (IP); (3) the establishment, management and oversight of the security of senior executives, Board Members and Trustees; (4) Provide leadership, organizational alignment, training and communication as a co-leader of the company Threat Management Team (TMT) and the Insider Risk Management Team (IRMT) and (5) all security related training and communication with a goal to enhance Associate security awareness and to improve overall the security of people, sensitive information and physical sites.
The role will provide leadership and collaborate with other global functional leaders and Business Units to develop implement and maintain company Global Security programs.
The person must have a demonstrated ability to set performance expectations, provide regular feedback/coaching, and effectively manage team performance to ensure the successful execution of programs, projects, and initiatives.
The person must be a mission oriented and performance driven individual, with strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop global strategies, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure an appropriate level security for the Company’s Associates, facilities, Trade Secrets / Intellectual Property (IP) and other sensitive information.
- Develop and manage executive protection programs for senior executives, Trustees and members of the Board of Directors.
- Develop and manage security for substantive events sponsored by the company.
- Manage Global Security programs in line with Company strategy, local, state and federal laws.
- Provide direction to the Global Security Team, guiding them for success and managing their long-term development.
- Global point of contact for all Security business updates and communications.
- Provide input to senior leadership including strategic planning, Annual Operating Plans, BOD reporting, Business Continuity, Crisis Management and security incident and emergency response.
- Establish effective and collaborative internal networks to drive continuous improvement efforts relative to the Company’s security programs.
- Provide direction and oversight of global security systems and processes to ensure compliance in company business units.
- Develop, manage and oversee a Workplace Violence Prevention Program and related process and procedures.
- Develop, manage and oversee a Threat Management Team (TMT) and related process and procedures.
- Develop, manage and oversee an Insider Risk Management Team (IRMT) and related process and procedures.
- Develop, manage and oversee an Emergency Notification System and related process and procedures.
- Identify and recommend solutions for the investment and development of new or improved security systems for the overall enhanced security of Associates, sites and sensitive information.
- Develop and evaluate emergency and incident response plans related to the security program.
- Provide training exercises for key decision makers and teams to assist in crisis management planning and business continuity execution for security related incidents and crises.
- Maintain an effective network of external liaison relationships with corporate security peers, law enforcement, security related organizations (ISMA, ATAP, OSAC, etc.) and intelligence related entities.
- Identify, manage and respond to global security risks and develop mitigation plans and responses to protect the company and its assets from security threats.
- Drive and manage capital investments in security globally.
- Conduct and provide oversight to investigations conducted by Global Security and ensure alignment with Legal and HR responsibilities.

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15 years’ total security experience,
- Security management experience in a global organization with increasing management responsibility including security and crisis management for a minimum of 5 years,
- Relevant security leadership experience, ideally within the intelligence community, law enforcement, military, or private sector corporate security organizations,
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution of projects on an international level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong project management skills,
- Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with others in a dynamic matrix environment,
- Strategic planning, business processes administration.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree a minimum.
- Relevant training, experience and education preferred.
Specialized Skills / Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of physical security systems.
- Knowledge of and experience in insider risks and mitigation.
- Knowledge of and experience in Workplace Violence Prevention and Mitigation
- Experience conducting criminal / civil investigations and evidence collection and preservation (preferred).
- Fluent English, written and spoken

- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $147,031 - $231,049 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
