Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop products, including feasibility assessment, prototyping, detailed design, testing, verification/validation, and commercialization
  • Apply new and existing technologies, materials, and processes to deliver innovative solutions
  • Create engineering specifications, drawings, and prototypes using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and testing to ensure regulatory compliance and performance standards
  • Utilize problem-solving tools such as Root Cause Analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Analyze data, document findings, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with clinicians, end-users, and internal teams to refine product functionality based on feedback
  • Prepare technical documentation in compliance with regulatory and design control requirements
  • Lead R&D tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, operations, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing devices, processes, and cost-effectiveness
  • Support intellectual property (IP) considerations and provide business insights on project impact

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (relevant field) with 5–8 years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience
  • Proven experience in medical device design and development from concept to production
  • Knowledge of medical device materials and Design Controls (DHF, risk management, FMEA, V&V)
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 quality management standards
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and CAD modeling
  • Ability to utilize information resources and stay updated on technological trends
  • Strong communication skills to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders in Lithuanian and English
  • English and Lithuanian languages required

Salary:

2700-3900 €/gross after assessing your competencies and work experience.
