Summary:

This role specifically supports Manufacturing Finance and Controlling functions, including Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, Production Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Profit Center Accounting, and financial reporting within these domains.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders and senior IT to analyze processes, gather requirements, design workflows, and define reporting needs
  • Convert business requirements into test plans, conduct unit testing, ensure integration coverage, support user acceptance, and perform regression testing
  • Ensure business processes run smoothly by maintaining application functionality and resolving production issues per IT standards
  • Create and update business process documentation, including overviews, functional specifications, and process flows, tailored to the audience
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, serving as the IT point of contact and ensuring alignment on technology initiatives
  • Support the intake and prioritization of technology initiatives, working with stakeholders and IT leaders to define the roadmap and advance projects.
  • Work with implementation partners and project managers to oversee project status, issues, and changes, ensuring requirements are documented, understood, and approved by stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a related business function, focusing on business process analysis and design
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, IT, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • SAP FI & CO certification is a plus
  • Enterprise-wide knowledge of business applications, including process configuration, module integration, data management, and transactional execution (SAP ECC 6.0, SAP S/4HANA 2023)
  • Expertise in cost center planning, management, allocations, and reporting (month-end, year-end)
  • Proficient in managing inventory transactions and their impact on P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring accurate closing
  • Strong understanding of profit center structures for management reporting in manufacturing
  • Expertise in sales transaction flow into Profitability Analysis, including derivation rules and advanced reporting
  • Proficiency in Visio, Excel, and Access for process flows and data analysis
  • Strong grasp of business requirements elicitation using techniques like use cases, prototyping, and questionnaires
  • Proficient in basic cost-benefit analysis for process enhancements
  • Fluency in English is required

Salary

3500-5000 €/mon. gross
Salary from 3500 (before taxes) after assessing your competencies and work experience.
