Summary

The Senior Sourcing Specialist – APAC is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers across the Asia‑Pacific region to ensure the availability of high‑quality, cost‑effective raw materials. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders to execute sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support organizational goals through effective procurement practices. The Specialist ensures compliance with company standards, mitigates sourcing risks, and drives continuous improvement within the supplier base.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify and assess new suppliers in the APAC region.

• Evaluate suppliers on quality, cost, reliability, capabilities, and compliance with company standards.

• Negotiate supplier agreements to secure favorable terms and ensure alignment with business needs.

• Manage relationships with new and existing suppliers to maintain a reliable and consistent supply base.

• Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.

• Assess and mitigate risks associated with suppliers, materials, and market conditions.

• Prepare reports on supplier performance, procurement trends, and sourcing activities.

• Collaborate with procurement, operations, quality, and other functions to align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives.

Essential Functions of the Role

  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
  • Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals.
  • Maintain and analyze data using tools like Excel, SAP, or HRIS systems.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent are preferred.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of regional APAC languages is an advantage.

• Familiarity with supplier audit processes, contract management, and procurement systems.

• Experience working in multinational environments and cross‑functional teams.

Salary

3100-4200 Euros gross/month after assessing your competencies and work experience.
