Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the managing, administration, scheduling, and budgeting for assigned project
- NPD (New Product Development), process improvement or project support to other engineers as assigned to meet the established timeline, budget, and key project deliverables
- Manage capital projects using standard project management techniques
- Request capital using the Authorization For Expenditure (AFE) process to purchase custom as well as commercially available equipment from a variety of suppliers
- Manage process change projects through the Change Control (CC) process
- Work closely with Quality Engineers to ensure products meet established quality standards, and processes meet established regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO)
- Reduce production costs through cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and automation. Provide justification based on data analysis
- Work with mechanics to determine the root cause of production problems and develop means to reduce or eliminate root causes
- Reduce machine downtime and inventory carrying costs using reliability centered maintenance
- Interact with internal support groups (Facilities, IT, QA, NPC, etc.) and external suppliers in the execution of projects
- Identify, evaluate and implement new technology into the manufacturing processes
Responsibilities:
- 7-10 years’ of professional experience in Project, Process Engineering area, coming from manufacturing background (food, pharma, medical device, biotech or similar)
- Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanic, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic
- Technical knowledge/practical experience in PLC systems, Pneumatics, 2/3D CAD, Lean •Manufacturing principles (SMED and DMAIC techniques), Occupational Health & Safety area, Project •Management (would be an asset)
- Good analytical and problem solving, project management and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills and a positive/tolerant attitude to successfully interact with colleagues
- Fluent English and Lithuanian languages skills
