Responsibilities:
- Lead ESG and EHS data collection, validation, assurance, and reporting across global operations.
- Oversee compliance and reporting in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), including alignment with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
- Coordinate reporting efforts for California Climate Bills (SB 253 & SB 261), including Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions and climate-related financial risk disclosures.
- Develop and maintain systems for EHS data reporting and trending, ensuring accurate tracking of environmental, health, and safety metrics (e.g., GHG emissions, water, waste, safety incidents).
- Implement robust data assurance and validation protocols to ensure ESG and EHS data accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of the ESG database platform.
- Contribute to climate risk studies, scenario analysis, and regulatory disclosures.
- Assist in the development of the annual Sustainability Report, including data analysis and narrative development.
- Monitor and support compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation and other emerging ESG legislation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Operations, Procurement, and Communications.
- Conduct ESG materiality assessments and benchmarking studies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve ESG and EHS performance and transparency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility roles.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD) and EHS data management.
- Familiarity with California Climate Bills and EU sustainability regulations.
- Experience with ESG and EHS data platforms, reporting tools, and assurance processes.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, matrixed organization.
- Experience managing people
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with climate risk modeling, regulatory reporting, and data assurance (preferred).
- Knowledge of ESG regulations and reporting standards (preferred experience).

Salary:
3200-4700 € gross after assessing your competencies and work experience.
