Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to acquire and integrate data that support clinical, economic, and design validation objectives
- Assess and utilize relevant internal and external data sources, including data warehouses, partner data sources, research reports, lab testing, clinical studies, surveys, and interviews
- Develop and implement data strategies to address complex strategic challenges
- Translate strategic challenges into analytic frameworks and develop corresponding algorithms and data processes
- Conduct statistical analysis, modeling, and experimental design
- Collaborate with study teams including clinical data manager and clinical scientists to set up and maintain databases and dashboards
- Present analytic results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level presentations
- Lead efforts in democratizing data to facilitate insights development within the department and cross-functionally
- Serve as an advisor on data-related methodologies and best practices
- Serve as a leader within Global Clinical Affairs for innovation in support of Clinical, Market Access, and Quality Management initiatives
- Design research and develop new applications resulting in new strategic opportunities for Global Clinical Affairs
Requirements:
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in data science, with a focus on regulated industries
- Proficiency in Power BI, Databricks, Azure, Python, SAS and other data tools
- Experience with clinical research studies with varying study designs for example, clinical registries and cohort studies
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in using Microsoft Fabric and other AI tools is highly preferred
- BS in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field
- MS in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics preferred
- Professional proficiency in English and Lithuanian
