Summary

The Continuous Improvement Manager leads the development, implementation, and sustainment of an enterprise-wide continuous improvement (CI) programme grounded in Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence principles. The role partners with plant leadership, functional teams, and global CI resources to drive improvements in quality, service, cost, and culture. The position provides strategic direction, coaching, and hands-on support to build CI capability, enhance process performance, and strengthen employee engagement in continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a multi‑year CI strategy aligned with global operations and site-level objectives.
  • Serve as a key change agent promoting a continuous improvement culture, engaging leaders and employees across functions.
  • Lead by example and coach teams in the application of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, problem‑solving and waste‑reduction methodologies.
  • Coordinate CI training programmes, including development of Green Belt and Black Belt capability.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, A3 problem solving, and other improvement workshops.
  • Develop reporting structures and performance metrics to track CI progress, project completion, and operational outcomes.
  • Support the development of strong materials‑flow, standard work, and autonomous team structures.
  • Manage idea generation systems to promote employee engagement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with global CI teams to share best practices and support cross‑site initiatives.
  • Demonstrate capability to execute improvements independently in addition to facilitation and coaching.
  • Perform other CI‑related duties as required.

  • Leading or contributing to innovation workshops and ideation sessions.
  • Presenting findings to internal stakeholders.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in a progressive manufacturing or related operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading change and applying Lean/Six Sigma tools in a hands‑on capacity.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to coach teams, manage projects, and influence without direct authority.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced data analysis tools.
  • Strong facilitation, training, and change‑management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

4200-6200 €/mon. gross
Salary from 4200 (before taxes) after assessing your competencies and work experience.
