Summary
This is team leadearship role which provides Financial and Accounting support for a group of Business Units embedded in the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Kaunas.
Job scope includes achievement of management and statutory compliance with corporate and /or local requirements. This individual is expected to be a proactive business partner with the Business Units and Corporate
leadership teams, to improve accounting and closing processes, internal controls, policies, compliance and overall company’s profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the month-end-close and year-end-close according to local and US-GAAP for the assigned group of Business Units; such as General Ledger, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, inter-company transactions, accruals, cash management and purchase-to-pay process.
- Support Accounting Team to ensure a proper tax filing and handling of tax returns (income, VAT, etc.) within designated countries and ensure that financial accounting is in line with statutory and legal requirements.
- Ensure Balance Sheet integrity, manage Cash Flow and Working Capital.
- Establish proper internal control procedures in relation with internal audit.
- Manage compliance with corporate policies, such as AFE´s, International Chart of Accounts postings, etc.
- Lead and manage projects to improve process standardization and efficiency.
- Lead and develop the team of Associates responsible for General ledger, Payroll, AP/AR Ledger, Statutory/legal Reporting, Compliance, Internal controls, and other administrative activities supporting the efficient workand multifunctional support.
- Monitor and support existing Finance practices to ensure all service levels are within agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Serve as trusted business partner—driving performance of Kaunas CoE, mitigating risk, and providing data-driven insights that will enable the CoE to achieve its strategic objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external auditors and service providers.
- Conduct frequent meetings with Hollister Business Units’ leads to achieve process improvements and ensure finance accounting is in line with AOP and support analytical requirements.
Education & Work Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8-12 years of related experience
Education & Work Preferences
- Number of Overall Years Necessary: 8-12 in an accounting area.
- Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5-8 in an international environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing team.
- Professional accounting qualification/certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) and/or advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance).
- Experience in an international, shared services/center of excellence, distribution, or commercial environment.
- Audit experience (including large audit firms) and experience supporting external/statutory audits.
- ERP experience, preferably SAP; experience with standardized close tools and process documentation.
- Experience with multiple reporting frameworks (e.g., US GAAP and/or IFRS) and exposure to local GAAP requirements.
- Business-level English proficiency; additional language skills may be an advantage depending on stakeholder needs.
- Progressive experience in general accounting, including month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating the work of others.
- Working knowledge of core accounting principles and standards (GAAP) and familiarity with statutory reporting and tax compliance support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to produce and interpret analyses and maintain robust documentation.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.

Salary
3400-5000 €/month Gross
From 3400€/Gross after assessing your competencies and work experience.
