SUMMARY: 

 

This position will perform tax, audit, Transfer pricing and General accounting role in Gurugram

ensure that all tax returns & audits are completed accurately and in a timely manner, and will provide support and guidance to the Finance team regarding tax matters.

 

 

III.      RESPONSIBILTIES: 

 

  • Responsible for the accuracy and preparation of monthly financial reports, including

interpretive comments (including risks and opportunities) and recommendations to support the monthly financial review process.

  • Timely closure of Audit for all group entities including consolidated accounts for the holding company.
  • Ensures compliance with accounting principles and IFRS, corporate finance policies and

procedures, internal control processes, risk management and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Administers, and controls financial operations such as account payables, account receivables, credit, and analysis process
  • Ensure all compliance including all filings & assessment to various tax authorities for direct & indirect taxes.
  • Oversees month-end closing and year-end closing and coordinates and reviewing the work of the accounting team as needed.
  • Review the tax Schedule for Tax audit and filings and also appear in tax hearing with Govt Authorities
  • Coordinate and manage tax, Statutory, In audits, inquiries and notices from tax authorities
  • Ensure Maintenance of documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions and other tax-related activities
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams, such as finance, legal and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination on tax matters.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies
  • Provide guidance on complex tax matters and advise management on tax implications of decisions
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess potential implications
  • Represent the organization in tax audits and hearings
  • Research tax-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of company law to manage annual returns as per prevailing Companies Act.
  • Ensure IGAAP and UGAAP reconciliation and pass necessary adjustments entries
  • Manager Transfer pricing accounting and applicable laws to file required returns.
  • Knowledge and experience of applicable portals of tax filing
  • Coordinate with global corporate and tax accounting team to perform given timelines and data presentation
  • Ensure month end, quarter and year end closing and Management rep letter report out

 


 

 IV.     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting
  • Ability to interface with a computer for long periods of time.
  • Constant utilization of listening skills, both person to person and telephonically.
  • Local/ International travel requirements

 

 

 

 

 

V.       QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

  • Chartered Accountant, B. Com/M. Com
  • 10 to 12 years’ experience in tax, statutory audit, internal audit, IGAAP and UGAAP, General accounting
  • In depth knowledge of Company law, Taxation   
  • Very good Liaison skill (preferred).
  • Work experience with Global Business Shared Services Center (preferred)

 

 

VI.      SPECIALIZED SKILLS: 

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Advance excel proficiency, macro, Power BI preferrable
  • Interpersonal communication (both written and oral).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, excellent follow-up, multi-tasking and organizational skills, clear and concise oral and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively with global team members across time zones in a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze all aspects of a situation, identify potential solutions, make informed decisions, and implement the solution in a timely manner.
  • In depth knowledge of Direct and Indirect taxes.
  • SAP R/3, S4 Hana and other Audit tools like ACL Skills
  • Very good Liaison skill
  • Work experience with Global Business Shared Services Center (preferred)
  • Should have best understanding of accounting principles (IGAAP and USGAAP)
  • Other responsibilities as brief by the Supervisor from time to time
