Summary:

 

The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for executing the Global Talent Management Strategy through the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms, ensuring the delivery of training programs, and consulting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on the design and development of web-based learning tools. This role also involves the creation of online learning using Articulate, as well as supporting the execution of the Associate Listening System. The role reports to the Senior Director, Global Organization Development & Effectiveness, and works collaboratively with HR Business Partners and Associates and Leaders.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Learning Systems (e.g., SuccessFactors LMS, SkillSoft), Tools (eg. Articulate) and Processes:

  • Partner with Systems owner(s) and a global team of LMS Administrators, ensure all are properly trained and use the standardized processes and quick guides
  • Manage content of and ensure the delivery of various training programs through the Learning Systems
  • Administer, maintain and partner with LMS Administrators to expand the use of a validated and up to date LMS
  • Proactively suggest and implement ideas to improve processes, training set-up and guidelines and design standardized solutions that matches global needs 
  • Design, implement and maintain on-line and web-based deliveries and tools
  • Recommend and implement actions to support the Learning Systems as efficient tools for learning and the first ‘go-to’ place to look for development opportunities for leaders and Associates

 

Reporting:

  • Execute processes to record learning activities and provide metrics and dashboards to document that learning objectives are met
  • Execute reporting processes to assess training effectiveness and ensure automated reports and dashboards are generated to support the HRBPs
  • Analyze Talent Management metrics and give feedback to internal and external facilitators and follow up on courses where objectives have not been met

Administration:

  • Organize and file electronic and physical training files
  • Maintain and suggest updates to iConnect pages of the function

Organization Development:

  • Support the execution of the Company’s Associate Listening system.  In working with the internal team and outside vendor, support reporting, data management and transfer, translations and HRBP questions. 
  • Play a key role in ensuring all items are on track to meet deadlines.  Act as a resource to HRBPs on survey implementations as needed.   

 

Business-driven Talent Development activities:

  • Review and continuously optimize the portfolio of training programs to ensure it supports the business needs
  • Schedule and manage training programs and ensure that courses are fully booked through marketing and communication activities.
  • Create quick guides to support a learning culture with self-driven learning and development activities, including resources that support leaders and associates in the goal setting, development planning and performance management processes.
  • Define and maintain curriculums and ensure facilitator and participants materials are distributed in due time.
  • Design, implement and maintain up-to-date talent management programs and recommend blended learning methods and new technologies to support a learning culture with easy, accessible, and efficient training opportunities (just-in-time and where needed). Work with Talent Development Manager to develop measurement to ensure documentation and assess efficient and effective content and learning methods.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2-5
  • Experience in Human Resources, Talent Development and/or Organization Development roles
  • 2+ years’ experience with HR systems and tools, preferably specific to Talent Management systems and LMS tools (e.g., SuccessFactors, Skillsoft and Articulate)
  • Demonstrated results in optimization of processes and in implementing new technologies and methodologies
  • Experience with measuring the success of HR/Development programs
  • Vendor Management and ability to understand, evaluate, make judgements on proposals and recommend solutions
  • Proven capability of effective planning and priority setting
  • Experience with instructional design and training delivery preferred
  • Experience with on-line, web-based and smartphone facilitated training preferred

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in HR Development, Organizational Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related fields

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Experience with Success Factors LMS and Reporting
  • Excellent communication, particularly the creation of written communication and presentation materials
  • Knowledge of needs analysis, instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles and tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously
  • Good at stakeholder management and communicating and collaborating with global stakeholders without direct authority or supervision
