Summary:
|
|
Supervisor – Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable is responsible for end‑to‑end oversight of AP and AR operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing, adherence to internal controls, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The role involves managing a team of 8–10 associates, driving process efficiency, meeting service level agreements (SLAs), and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across geographies

Responsibilities:
|
|
|
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Supervise end‑to‑end AP operations including invoice processing, 3‑way matching, vendor reconciliations, and payment execution.
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
- Review and approve AP transactions in ERP systems (e.g., SAP / Coupa) as per delegated authority.
- Monitor GR/IR, open items, and aging; ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensure Concur T&E reports are reviewed and audited timely
- Monitor past due T&E reports; ensure timely resolution of queries
- Drive month‑end close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Oversee AR processes including invoicing, cash application, customer reconciliations, and dispute management.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of receipts and monitoring of unapplied cash.
- Track receivables aging and support collection efforts in coordination with business and regional teams.
- Review AR balances and support month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities.

Essential Functions of the Role**:
|
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8–10 AP and AR associates.
- Allocate work, set clear expectations, and monitor individual and team performance against KPIs.
- Conduct regular team meetings, 1:1s, performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Controls, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal finance policies, SOX/internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Act as a key contact for internal and external audits related to AP, Concur and AR processes.
- Prepare and review operational MIS, KPIs, and management reports.
Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support automation and standardization initiatives across AP and AR.

Work Experience Requirements:
|
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on computer systems
- Ability to work with global teams across time zones
- Occasional extended hours during month‑end and audit cycles
|
|
Education Requirements
|
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance,
- MBA/CPA US and EU preferred
- 6–10 years of experience in finance operations, with hands‑on exposure to AP and AR
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or team‑handling experience
Experience working in a Global Business Services / Shared Services environment preferred.

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
|
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP (ECC / S4 HANA), Concur and Coupa
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- People management and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to meet deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills in a global working environment.
