Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Developer with expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and strong SQL development skills. The ideal candidate will work on end-to-end data solutions supporting analytics initiatives across domains in the Life Sciences industry. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, and relevant certifications such as DP-700 and Databricks Data Engineer Associate/Professional are preferred. Power BI knowledge is highly preferable to support integrated analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks to support business processes.
  • Develop curated datasets for clinical, regulatory, and commercial analytics using SQL and PySpark.
  • Create and support dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with ERP teams such as Salesforce.com and SAP to integrate and transform business-critical data into analytic-ready formats.
  • Partner with Data Scientists to enable advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives by providing clean, reliable, and well-structured data.
  • Use Azure DevOps to manage code repositories, track tasks, and support agile delivery processes.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to the design of scalable, compliant data models and architecture.

 

 
       

 

Key Skills and Expertise

  • Microsoft Fabrics – strong hands-on expertise (must-have)
  • Azure Synapse Analytics/ADF – strong hands-on expertise (must-have)
  • Databricks / notebooks– strong hands-on experience writing code in pyspark (must-have)
  • SQL (complex queries, optimization, transformation logic) (must-have)
  • Power BI – hands-on experience in reporting and dashboards (good to have, highly preferred).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps like Repos, CICD Pipelines, Boards (good to have, highly preferred)
  • Experience in integrating Azure system with ERP systems such as Salesforce.com, SAP (good to have)
  • Azure Cloud Services – strong understanding of data integration, storage, and governance.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with other team members, data stake holders, application owners, business analysts, developers, and others to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Azure solutions with business processes.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging new learning, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Work Experience Requirements

Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5+

  • At least 4+ years of experience in Data world.
  • Proven track record of successful Microsoft projects and initiatives

Education Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of overall experience in corporate world
  • 4+ years of experience in data world with Fabric/Azure Synapse Analytics/ADF
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in data bricks and notebooks
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL
  • 2–3 years of experience in cloud technologies
  • 1+ years of experience in MS Fabrics
  • Proven hands-on experience with Power BI (good to have).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Local Specifications (English and Local Language):
