Summary

The Senior BI Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable BI solutions to support Global and Regional FP&A. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and SQL, ownership of data models, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust analytical solutions. 

By providing accurate, timely, and well-structured reporting, the position supports the FP&A Manager and Business Finance team in partnering effectively with local marketing and sales functions. A willingness to overlap with Central European Time (CET) working hours is required to ensure effective collaboration with European stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust data models to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance management. 
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all BI solutions.
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional FP&A teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Partner with IT and data engineering teams to integrate new data sources and improve data pipelines.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging BI technologies, tools, and best practices where they add clear business value.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve automation, performance, and usability of reporting solutions.

  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying process improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain secure handling of sensitive information.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization. 
  • Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end BI solutions, from data modeling to front-end visualization.
  • Solid understanding of financial data structures, FP&A processes, and performance management concepts.
  • Exposure to Python or R for data analysis or automation.
  • Experience working in a matrixed global organization.
  • Advanced certifications in Power BI or other BI tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data environments (e.g., SAP, data warehouses, cloud platforms).
