Summary

The Senior BI Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable BI solutions to support Global and Regional FP&A. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and SQL, ownership of data models, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust analytical solutions.

By providing accurate, timely, and well-structured reporting, the position supports the FP&A Manager and Business Finance team in partnering effectively with local marketing and sales functions. A willingness to overlap with Central European Time (CET) working hours is required to ensure effective collaboration with European stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
Design, build, and maintain robust data models to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all BI solutions.
Collaborate with Global and Regional FP&A teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Partner with IT and data engineering teams to integrate new data sources and improve data pipelines.
Evaluate and integrate emerging BI technologies, tools, and best practices where they add clear business value.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve automation, performance, and usability of reporting solutions.

Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Education & Work Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization.
Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end BI solutions, from data modeling to front-end visualization.
Solid understanding of financial data structures, FP&A processes, and performance management concepts.
Exposure to Python or R for data analysis or automation.
Experience working in a matrixed global organization.
Advanced certifications in Power BI or other BI tools.
Familiarity with enterprise data environments (e.g., SAP, data warehouses, cloud platforms).
