Summary
The Lead RPA Developer is responsible for leading end-to-end robotic process automation (RPA) delivery using the UiPath platform. This role provides technical leadership across solution design, development standards, code quality, and automation governance to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions. The role collaborates closely with business stakeholders, process analysts, architects, and IT and security teams to identify automation opportunities, assess feasibility and value, manage technical risks, and deliver reliable automation solutions into production.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and architecture of UiPath automation solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Own the automation delivery lifecycle from design through development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Establish and enforce development standards, reusable frameworks, and quality best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure automation quality, security, and compliance requirements are met.
• Configure and manage UiPath Orchestrator and Automation Cloud environments.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide production support, root cause analysis, and continuous stability improvements.
• Mentor and guide RPA developers and contribute to skills development and team capability growth.
Essential Functions of the Role
Design and deliver scalable, resilient, and secure automation solutions using UiPath.
• Develop and review complex workflows, integrations, and reusable components.
• Define and apply governance controls, quality gates, and documentation standards.
• Ensure production readiness, monitoring, and operational support of automations.
Education and Work Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in RPA development and solution delivery.
• Hands-on expertise with UiPath Studio, REFramework, Orchestrator, and Automation Cloud.
• Experience working with enterprise applications, APIs, OCR, and legacy systems.

Advanced experience with UiPath Document Understanding, AI Center, and API-based automation.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience mentoring technical teams or leading automation initiatives at scale.
• Familiarity with automation governance models and enterprise IT environments.
