Summary:
Responsible for label data entry using Hollister’s labeling systems and for graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite for the development of global medical device labeling, packaging artwork, and instructions for use (IFU) for Hollister and Dansac branded finished goods. These duties include but are not limited to the following: parsing and loading label content into labeling systems, collaborating with cross-functional project teams, proofreading labeling content, creating and revising label templates in line with corporate branding identity. Helps maintain the global labeling formatting templates, manages labeling approval workflows (creation, review, approval, and release), performs visual label verification to confirm indicated labeling content was correctly implemented, and provides troubleshooting support to manufacturing, distribution and third-party locations. This is a fast-paced role responsible for supporting multiple projects and teams in parallel.
Responsibilities:
•
Create and maintain label set data (content version and label format version associations).
•
Create and maintain label formats, templates, label types, artwork, and digital images within Hollister’s Global Labeling System.
•
Graphic design for packaging artwork and IFU using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
•
Verify barcode compliance with global UDI regulations and GS1 standards.
•
Ensure consistent, accurate application of Hollister Inc. and Dansac corporate branding guidelines.
•
Initiate change requests for routing of new and revised label(s), as applicable to non-content elements, formatting, and configurations.
•
Review finished product labels against indicated content and graphics, performing Visual Label Verification (VLV).
•
Approve and release product labels for Production use.
•
Provide team members with labeling support, training, and troubleshooting assistance.
•
Run Global Labeling System test scripts and SAP reports.
•
Collaborate across time zones with Hollister’s global sites and suppliers.
•
Apply working knowledge under general guidance, on concepts, principles, and technical capabilities for projects of moderate scope and complexity.

Work Experience Requirements
•
Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2-5
•
Experience with technical data entry
•
Medical device labeling experience preferred
•
Proofreading experience preferred
Education Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
•
Industry certifications desirable
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
•
Office computer skills required: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
•
Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions – handling stress and quickly analyzing problems in a professional and courteous manner
•
Demonstrated ability to stay on track while executing a task to completion
•
Adobe InDesign and Illustrator experience required
•
Familiarity with Loftware, PXSmartPrint, SAP, Qumas, or similar applications is preferred
•
Familiarity with printing systems and labeling substrates desired
