Summary

The Financial Analyst II provides proactive business partnership and financial analysis to support planning, forecasting, and performance management. This role builds annual and in-year plans, delivers month-end reporting with insights, and partners with leaders across business and corporate functions to inform decisions. This role collaborates globally and locally with functions including Business Units, Marketing, Market Access, Product Development, Finance/Pricing, Sales, Operations, and Legal to enable informed decision-making. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the Annual Plan, Midyear Review, and in-year Projection cycles for assigned business and corporate functions, including expense, capital, and headcount forecasting. 
  • Execute month-end close support: prepare journal inputs/requests as needed, perform variance analysis, reconcile results, and deliver clear narratives and KPI dashboards.
  • Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, highlighting trends, drivers, and actionable recommendations. 
  • Support cross-functional and global projects.
  • Develop, improve, and automate standards and ad-hoc reports and planning models using Excel, Power BI, Power Query.
  • Contribute to system projects (e.g., upgrades, design changes, data integrity efforts) and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process efficiency and insight quality.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cost, improve forecasting accuracy, and strengthen financial controls. 
  • Provide clear, concise communications and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain and analyze data using tools like Excel, SAP, or HRIS systems.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying process improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain secure handling of sensitive information.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2-5 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

  • CPA or Master's degree in Finance preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Power BI, Power Query, and other advanced analytics tools.
  • Experience with SAP and BPC.
