Responsibilities:
Sample Room Responsibilities – 80%
- Handle/count/pack/ship materials utilizing radio frequency guns, and PC’s Assist in maintaining order fulfillment service levels of 97% or greater
- Inventory tracking and reporting Perform Weekly Cycle Counts
- Manage inventory of marketing materials
- Resolve ordering and receipt issues for internal and external customers
- Maintain appropriate operating procedures and policies within corporate guidelines Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Keep sample room clean and organized daily
Inter-Departmental Interactions - 10%
- Resolve disputes where appropriate Check order status
- Follow appropriate guidelines to ensure timeliness of customer orders Be a positive influence on the team
Other Miscellaneous Duties - 10%
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders. Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to log inventory. Pick, pack, and label items accurately for shipment.
- Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. Ensure packaging meets safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Restock shelves and maintain organized storage areas. Operate inventory software and update records in real time.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Follow OSHA and company-specific safety protocols. Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow. Assist in training new associates on standard operating procedures.
- Maintain quality systems and compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct audits and inspections (internal and supplier).
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in quality documentation. Lifting, pulling and/or pushing up to 50 pounds.
Education & Work Requirements:
HS/Secondary school with 1-2 years of related experience
Work Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in warehouse related field
The anticipated pay for this position is $23.00 CAD/hourly.
