Summary:

The Manager of Global Events oversees a team of professional meeting planners and is responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of trade shows, conferences, meetings, incentive programs, and special events on behalf of the organization. Responsibilities:

Meetings and Events

Oversees the management of large scale global and local events on behalf of business units and executive teams by:

Researching meeting sites, conducting bidding processes, and selecting venues according to event requirements (location, size, cost, etc.).
Negotiating and executing contracts with hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, and other external vendors.
Managing all event logistics including air travel, housing, registration, food & beverage functions, off-site events, ground transportation and all other related functions.
Overseeing all financial aspects of meetings, including budget development and management; billing, payment processing and post meeting reconciliation; and final reporting and analysis. Maintains financial records and review invoices.
Interfacing directly with senior management teams, meeting sponsors, and vendors to ensure that all participants are fully briefed and engaged. Schedules team meetings and maintains regular communications with key stakeholders.
Coordinating meeting room bookings, assignment of space, room set-ups, audiovisual requirements, signage, and distribution of materials.
Producing banquet event orders and/or comprehensive meeting “resumes” to document events and share detailed information with all departments involved.
Providing onsite support.
Conducting and analyzing attendee evaluations.

Trade Shows and Conferences

Oversees the management of trade shows and conferences on behalf of business units and executive teams by:

Collaborating with internal customers to identify event objectives, setting budgets, and securing appropriate booth space.
Preparing, coordinating, and closely monitoring event timelines.
Identifying project teams and conducting regular planning meetings. Provides suggestions and input based upon professional industry best practices and experience. Issues meeting minutes.
Working closely with event marketing companies to design booths, secure appropriate exhibit components and order show services (electric, carpet, shipping, drayage, etc.).
Collaborating with Corporate Communications to ensure branding and graphics appropriately support event objectives and messaging.
Selecting booth staff, preparing staffing schedules, and arranging pre-show meetings.
Securing appropriate lodging and ground transportation.
Coordinating and planning social functions and special events.
Collecting and disseminating trade show details to team members and participants, including travel documents, event briefs and schedules.
Developing familiarity with AdvaMed and EucoMed regulations; ensuring enforcement during events.
Evaluating the effectiveness of programs and activities and making recommendations for changes.

Other

Provides vision/leadership and manages the performance and development of direct reports.
Establishes and manages annual operating budgets.
Leads the team in identifying problems and proactively seeks methods to improve performance and/or efficiency of operations or tasks.
Oversees the development of events-related best practices, including web-based processes and communications tools.
Oversees Libertyville-based cafeteria operations.

Requirements:

8+ years of global event planning experience.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.

Summary

The Sales Enablement Specialist is responsible for enhancing, training, and supporting the Americas business unit and contributes to the Global team in their use of field sales applications (Salesforce.com) and the sales training program. The Sales Enablement Specialist is a pivotal role in creating standardization across the many business units across the Americas. This role also standardizes and implements the Sales Compensation plans across the Americas.

Responsibilities

Champion the Salesforce.com (SFDC) system and lead its development for the Americas Business Units
Translate Hollister Products strategic objectives into appropriate strategies in SFDC that optimize the commercial approach.
Participate and promote the guideline of the best-in-class SFDC use and ensure a standard use on the tool. Sharing information with the Global Business Units.
Create and standardize compensation reporting for local business units.
Collaborate with finance units across the Americas to organize compensation/sales reporting.
Manage various SFDC efficiency initiatives such as opportunity management, segmentation & targeting, campaign management, optimization & alignment of reports and dashboards.
Share best practices with Global Business units to obtain maximum benefit from system.
Create SFDC reports for the Business Units.
Provide Marketing team a strategic path to develop optimal usage of SFDC.
In collaboration with the Finance team, create SFDC reports for the Business units, Sales teams and for Sales managers on relevant information.
Conduct cycle review meetings using systems reporting with leadership team.
Provide first line SFDC support to the Business Units.
Lead the Salesforce Advocate (super-user) Group.
Identify gaps in and enhancements to the system and coordinate development plans.
Develop training material for all functions who use the systems.
Deliver presentations and training on SFDC and other topics at meetings as required.
Responsible for the accurate maintenance of identified data elements required to support sales force business processes
Manage technical issues with SFDC by working with IT and Global system lead. Request enhancements that satisfy business requirements.
Manage sales materials (documents, resources, etc.) in the Salesforce Library.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Summary:

Provide strong leadership for global continuous improvement to create, implement and sustain a strong Lean Hollister Production System (HPS) while ensuring the delivery of key Quality, Service & Cost Objectives. This is a transformational role as part of the Global Operations team to support both plant and distribution locations to ensure the overall lean production system and culture advance and sustain for Hollister. The role is both hands on doing, coaching, mentoring but also having the ability to create and deploy a strategic roadmap to get Hollister to a world class operation. Responsibilities:

Critical Support to help create, drive and implement the overall Continuous Improvement (CI) Strategy for Global Operations, including alignment to the Hollister Production System (HPS) framework and finalize the development of the Hollister Production System, in order to drive business results
Educate and coach the organization on the culture of continuous improvement and necessary behavioral development, including a culture of continually challenging the status quo, experimentation, autonomous teams and leadership structures. Includes sharing of best practices.
