Territory Manager, Ostomy - North West England

Reports to: National Sales Manager, Ostomy

Requirements: Full Driving License, Able to travel within UK to attend meetings/conferences 

 

Summary:

Preparation and implementation of sales strategy through Annual Business Plans and focused activities to achieve sales objectives and development of all business within the Territory. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • To contribute as a member of the sales team, to the formulation of the overall Strategic Plan for the business.
  • To manage relationships with all Stoma Care departments in Acute Trusts in line with the business sales strategy and Annual Business Plans.  To promote the use of Hollister brand products to Stoma Care Nurses in hospitals and health clinics to increase sales and market share.
  • Using market place & competitor knowledge develop, agree and achieve the annual and cycle territory sales targets.
  • To manage, negotiate and develop business opportunities in all accounts, particularly in the designated ‘A’ accounts, in achievement of sales and margin targets.
  • To produce annual promotional plans for the ‘A’ accounts in conjunction with the Sales Manager and Product Manager and within agreed budget guidelines.
  • To ensure that all major accounts files are maintained and regularly updated.
  • To analyse the territory features and determine a plan for the most effective coverage through selective account targeting.
  • In conjunction with Key Account Management and Sales Manager identify and implement product conversion campaigns with selected DACs.
  • To regularly liaise with the National Sales Manager, Product Manager and Marketing Manager.
  • Prepare information for Annual Business Plan planning in accordance with the objectives agreed with the Sales Manager.
  • Provide a weekly and monthly report to the Sales Manager, in accordance with agreed objectives.
  • To organise and conduct “In-Service” programmes for hospital, wholesaler and DAC personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account profiles and records.
  • To maintain and develop own knowledge of competitors and products and share awareness with all colleagues.
