Responsible for Production Planning, Plant Sourcing, Raw Material Planning and Logistics/Distribution for the Stuart’s Draft plant. Active participation as a member of both the Global Supply Chain team and Site Senior Leadership team.  People management skills and the ability to lead and influence others is critical.


  • Coordination and manage the Plant S&OP process for Stuart’s Draft
  • Development, implementation, and management of ongoing improvement programs for your area of responsibility. Lead all aspects of site planning, buying and transportation functions.
  • Coordinates materials, distribution, warehousing, in accordance with company policies, principles, and procedures.
  • Employee management, training and development.
  • Regular reporting of activity and key performance indicators (costs, inventory, headcount, service performance)
  • Management of all suppliers supporting Stuarts Draft Manufacturing to include performance measurement and reporting of key business and quality metrics.
  • Responsibility and accountability for the Company's contractual commitments to suppliers, partners and employees.
  • Management and control of all Stuarts Draft inbound and outbound shipping and distribution processes.
  • Responsibility for the development and management of inventory policies and procedures. Manage the inventory budget for all Stuarts Draft inventories.
  • Reviews material costs and inventory levels and modifies demand and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance optimum operation for the facility.
  • Share Management responsibility for delivery of overall site wide key result areas.
  • Work with other operation functions to maximize the utilization of resources and inventory.
  • Coordinate and support process improvements across sites and functions
  • Other duties as assigned  

Work Experience Requirements

  • 7  Years Experience in Supply Chain Management in a high volume, low unit cost manufacturing environment
  • 5 Years in a Leadership Role

Education Requirements

  • B.S. / B.A in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline; or a related field or equivalent experience in the manufacturing industry acquired through a series of progressively more complex assignments

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of modern, effective supply chain processes and techniques.
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical skills and MS Excel are a prerequisite, along with an ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Working knowledge of MRPII, Work Center Planning tools, Kanban systems, operation of JIT. Logistics and Distribution. Procurement and planning.
  • Process or product knowledge within the medical devices industry would be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP and PC support systems
  • Experience of leading / implementing change in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to organize resources at a strategic level
  • Ability to flex leadership and interpersonal styles
  • Cognitive ability to problem solve at a strategic level.
  • Good listening skills - adapt and learn as their career develops in Hollister.
  • Emotional intelligence - understand how one appears and impact of others on oneself.
  • Knowledge of ERP / MRP systems required.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
