The Senior Analyst – Global Transportation will be responsible for the management of the company’s inbound freight program by managing the carrier and supplier freight relationships and ensuring that all KPI’s are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reporting freight costs and on-time metrics of all inbound freight globally (Truckload, LTL, Ocean and Air). The candidate will work cross-functionally with teams in procurement, supply chain, planning, manufacturing and finance to resolve issues and to identify opportunities to optimize cost and efficiency. Hollister Incorporated is operating in a hybrid working environment.



  • Work cross-functionally to maximize contracted transportation capabilities, while minimizing expense and achieving savings through leveraging all transportation spend
  • Design, build and maintain KPIs to monitor service and spend
  • Partner with leaders from manufacturing and procurement to understand specific transportation needs, provide ongoing support and develop a strategic vision
  • Responsible for freight payment and auditing for all inbound freight activities
  • Partner with manufacturing plants to manage financial budgets and tracking of costs
  • Oversee the financial review for global inbound transportation for monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Work Experience Requirements

  • 7+  years’ experience within Transportation, Logistics, or Warehousing
  • Experience with managing carrier performance, with a proven track record of negotiating freight contracts across multiple modes of transportation
  • Experience with Import, Export, Domestic, Parcel, Truckload and Less Than Truckload (LTL) transportation
  • Transport Management System Experience (I.e., BluJay, OTM, GT Nexus, MercuryGate)
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferable in Business Management, Supply Chain Operations, or other field with relevant work experience
  • Multi-site work experience with logistics management required

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge

  • Transportation Management System experience, including successful implementation of such software required
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communications and negotiation skills
  • Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions
  • Lean/Continuous Improvement training and experience preferred
  • Enterprise resource planning system knowledge
  • Experience of Global Transportation sourcing required
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, budgeting and development of KPIs to monitor performance
