Summary:

The Global Compensation Specialist, under general oversight, will counsel and collaborate with HRBPs and managers throughout the company on compensation decisions and practices, as well as lead or execute routine activities related to base pay, short-term incentive plans, long-term incentive plans and equity.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the survey portfolio and ensure completeness of the company’s data submissions to various domestic and international compensation surveys (in coordination with local HR management as needed). 
  • Responsible for the Market Data Management system used to house market data, including loading of employee data, loading of survey data, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity, designing and delivering reports, and managing the vendor relationship. 
  • Responsible for the position description repository and partners with HRBPs and managers on developing new or modified position descriptions. Performs regular audit of position descriptions to ensure all descriptions are created and up to date.
  • Responsible for the Organizational Management Module in HRIS system and related Organization Charts ensuring accuracy, providing training and support to users. 
  • Completes position evaluations on approved position descriptions and makes recommendations of salary ranges and level to the Senior Manager Global Compensation.
  • Maintains position ranges and levels and provides necessary system administration.
  • Reviews and provides recommendations on requests for market and/or promotional adjustments.  Ensures recommendations are within guidelines and have proper authorizations.  
  • Conducts other analyses as requested or directed
  • Partners with the Senior Manager Global Compensation to administer the annual Performance Management (HPM) program, including the following responsibilities
    • Provides analysis in support of annual HPM recommendations   (global merit increases, merit matrix, salary movement, etc.)
    • Reviews/reports on HPM-related data to ensure accuracy and adherence to guidelines
    • Provides day-to-day oversight of process to identify and resolve issues
    • Completes/reviews all merit & bonus calculations
    • Develops reports and analyzes data for trends to develop recommendations in alignment with program objectives  
    • Creates communication plans and materials leveraging expertise and understanding of customer needs 
  • Administer Long Term Cash bonus plan
  • Supports HR Business Partners 
  • Partners with other Human Resources and Finance colleagues on reporting and analytics
  • Actively Leads or participates on projects to advance People strategic plan
  • Assist in annual US Total Rewards statements  
  • Other duties as needed or required    

 
Requirements: 

  • 5-8 years overall experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
    • GRP and/or CCP preferred, but not required
  • Working in an analytical role, preferably supporting compensation programs on a corporate level 
  • Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong PC skills, especially in Excel, Access or other various spreadsheet and database applications.
    • SAP experience preferred.
    • SuccessFactors experience preferred
    • MarketPay experience preferred
  • The ability to review and analyze detailed spreadsheets and documents on a computer screen
  • The ability to use third party vendor computer applications
  • The ability to conduct and attend meetings in person or over video communication tool
