Summary:

 

This role is a member of our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team and will provide proactive business partnership and financial analytical support to the business.  This person will partner with business leaders to drive the key financial planning processes and “get underneath” the numbers to help management understand key trends in the operating results, as well as ensure timely and accurate reporting. To accomplish assigned objectives, this individual will collaborate and coordinate with a variety of Corporate functions both in Libertyville and across the globe. Hollister Incorporated operations in a hybrid work environment.


Responsibilities


Financial Support, Planning, Analysis for Corporate Units – 80%

  • Support the development of the Annual Plan, Midyear Review, and year-end Projection deliverables for various Corporate Units including IT
  • Collaborate with Corporate Unit functions in the preparation of the Annual Plan, Midyear Review, and Projection financial requirements, presentations, narratives, and creation of their expense, capital, and headcount planning forecasts
  • Determine capital versus expense classifications for spend, and support planning and preparation of capital requirements along with depreciation forecasts, as needed
  • Analyze and perform month-end financial support for specific Corporate Units
  • Monthly and annual reporting with variance analysis and key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with the General Accounting department to ensure proper recording of expenses and capital (alignment of statutory reporting to management reporting)
  • Provide financial support for all Corporate Units as needed
  • Provide financial support for key deliverables and strategic initiatives

Financial Support, Planning, Analysis for Corporate FP&A Department Deliverables – 20%

  • Support financial reporting system applications (SAP BPC, SAP R/3, EDW/BW) projects including system upgrades, design changes, data integrity efforts
  • Collaborate with business users to explain financial requirements
  • Develop standard and ad hoc financial reports using SAP BPC or SAP R/3
  • FP&A team improvement projects
  • Identify process improvement and cost savings opportunities
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management and Commercial Units
  • Provide support on various financial planning and analysis projects and processes

 

Requirements:

 

  • 3-6 Years overall experience
  • 3+ years in a financial analysis role with demonstrated business partnership
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficient in software applications like SAP BPC, SAP R/3, EDW/BW (preferred)Strong analytical skills
  • High level of communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and understand business needs and support the organization with value added analysis and insight
  • Financial modeling and ability to navigate complex formulas
  • Comfortable providing recommendations to senior leaders and executives
  • Ability to work across multiple layers of the organization
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple demands with support of management
  • Exceptional follow-up skills, high-level of accuracy, and initiative to provide added-value
