The Corporate Reputation Manager is responsible for creating and communicating a favorable public image for Hollister Incorporated. As a member of the Global Corporate Communications team, the Corporate Reputation Manager is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive communication strategies and programs designed to positively influence Hollister Incorporated business outcomes and shape our corporate reputation. This will be accomplished through external and internal campaigns designed to reach customers, consumers, current and potential Hollister Associates, and other stakeholders. This individual will partner with internal and external teams to deliver communications strategies and programs that support our Mission; To Make Life More Rewarding and Dignified for the People Who Use Our Products and Services.




The Corporate Reputation Manager must maintain a thorough understanding of the business and industry, and understand how to translate that knowledge into communications counsel. This role requires daily contact with global colleagues and oversight of a PR agency. The Corporate Reputation Manager must display a high degree of autonomy to implement strategic programs, lead work streams, contribute to work plans of team members, and identify new opportunities. Candidates should have strong media relations and digital media experience, and be an efficient and detail-oriented project manager.


  • Develop and manage internal and external content for all public relations activities for Hollister Incorporated and associated product brands, ensuring brand messages are consistent, timely, relevant and well-aligned to corporate goals
  • Monitor online activity, including assisting Hollister leadership in drafting and posting responses to reviews, monthly reporting on activity and ratings, proactively identifying themes in reviews that can influence employee engagement and/or external communication campaigns
  • Oversee the Hollister Associate Ambassador employee engagement program and related activities
  • Partner with HR on the development and implementation of communications and events that support and strengthen our corporate culture
  • Create and maintain company related messaging for use by the corporate and business units
  • Support senior leadership’s communications efforts, internally and externally
  • Liaise with regional leads in North America, Europe, Australia, Asia Pacific and Latin America to curate and share content as appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Leadership, Global and Local Marketing Directors/Managers and others to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging and usage of best practices across the organization   
  • Facilitate and monitor discussions or announcements on iConnect, our employee intranet site 
  • Develop policies and procedures for managing internal and external communications that ensure adherence to established guidelines
  • Lead innovative approaches for the development and implementation of compelling communications programming locally and globally
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums
  • Participate on global and local teams to plan and implement projects
  • Align support from key functional areas including human resources, IT, legal, operations, clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing and distribution facilities
  • Oversee the budget and activities of PR agency
  • Measure and evaluate effectiveness of communication strategies
  • Manage the development of highly sensitive business information as necessary

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Communications, English, Business, Journalism or related field.

Length of Experience:

  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 8-12
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years public relations or corporate affairs experience in the healthcare space or related industries
  • Strong presentation abilities at press conferences, public meetings or to senior level executives
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required
  • Must have an understanding of website development and management tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver, Flash, and SharePoint Designer
  • Must be familiar with website analytics tools, such as Web trends and Google Analytics
  • Must be familiar with current social media platforms, such as Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel, international included, up to 40% of the time

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Excellent writing, communications planning, issues and project management skills.
  • Experience as a professional communicator with a focus on media relations and internal communications
  • Experience with digital content development, management and storytelling
  • Experience interfacing with senior executives
  • Proven project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – persuasive and persistent
  • Highly motivated and energetic
  • Resourceful, analytical, business-savvy, creative and strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver against business objectives

  • Familiarity with Ostomy, Continence Care and/or Wound Care Products
