Summary
Develop responsible category strategies and tactics to support Global Indirect Sourcing goals and objectives through interactions with the supplier, Sales and Marketing, Global Operations, Information Technology, Legal, R&D, and/or Human Resources, depending on assigned function. Collaborate with suppliers utilizing expert negotiation skills in support of total cost reduction initiatives. Manage Statement of Work creation, request for quote, proposal, or information process and complete contract review and management. Develop and leverage technology to drive procurement efficiencies and savings. This position can be located in Libertyville, Ballina or Kaunas. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy category strategies with supplier base to achieve business goals and drive cost savings. Collaborate with other cross-functional teams (form effective relationships) focused on cost control, contractual management, process improvements, and other organizational initiatives to achieve competitive advantage.
  • Manage Statement of Work based on requirements from the internal requestor to obtain relevant quotes from suppliers. Prepare, send RFQ/RFP’s via Coupa Sourcing Module and other required documentation and maintain consistent communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timelines are met. Negotiate contractual agreements to provide preferred pricing and commercial terms for the business with advice from legal and the functional team. Perform financial analysis of RFQ results to determine best competitive solutions and present Sourcing recommendations to the selection team. Execute requirements per terms of the agreements.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional project teams. Leverage data from Coupa (P2P) system to analyze and identify category opportunities; compare and contrast/evaluate options and select the optimal solution. Leverage in-depth knowledge of markets, suppliers, and Hollister to maintain steady, cost-effective supply of required items or service.
  • Develop procurement efficiencies and savings from guided buying principles within the Coupa system to expand preferred supply base. Lead the continuous development of Hollister’s supplier diversity program by actively including diverse suppliers in rebid opportunities and communicating with functional areas the importance of the program.
  • Mentor and coach Sourcing Specialists to further develop and refine skills regarding sourcing strategies, relationship management, supplier development, tactics, and negotiations.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 8-12 (8+ years supply chain, purchasing, and/or sourcing experience)
     

Education Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree
  • MBA preferred, but not required
  • C.P.M., and/or CPSM desired
     

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Preferred but not required
    • Microsoft Suite (including: Excel, PowerPoint,Access, Word, Outlook, and/or Project)
    • SAP S/4 Hana
    • Coupa (P2P) experience is preferred, but not required
