Business Systems Analyst is responsible for system maintenance, data processing, validation and troubleshooting in support of the business financial reporting and planning processes as related to the Planning & Consolidations System.  This Analyst provides business value through collaboration with business counterparts and application team members, assuring that existing system processes are functioning efficiently and designing/implementing enhancements and extensions to leverage the system and deliver business benefit. Travel expectations are up to 10%. Hollister Incorporated operations in a hybrid work environment. Applicants for this posiiton can reside in the UK, Ireland and Germany in addition to some states in the US.



Maintenance & Processing – 50%:

  • Execute and validate all data load jobs and troubleshoot/resolve any related issues
  • Manage the maintenance of master data, user security and input templates
  • Manage data integration in maintaining information integrity standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any system functional issues including logic, rules, formulas,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies to source data
  • Conduct any required testing needed to support infrastructure or related system changes.

Enhancements / Extensions / Process Improvement – 30%:

  • Translate business needs into workable system design solutions
  • Utilize system expertise in providing the business with creative solutions and opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for effectiveness and efficiency improvements; design, develop and implement resulting process changes
  • Fully test any changes related to process improvement, enhancements, extensions or environment changes to ensure seamless implementation

User Support, Training & Documentation – 15%:

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with key business users
  • Provide users with direction/advice with regard to system structure and utilization
  • Communicate effectively with user community on process status and issues
  • Develop all process documentation and maintain as processes evolve

Other duties as needed or required – 5%



  • BS / BA in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting
  • 5 – 8 years of related experience with 3-5 years’ experience in Planning & Consolidation Systems is required
    •  BPC 10.0 or higher is prefered
  • Proficiency in logic rules and formulas is required
  • Experience in both planning and consolidation required
  • Knowledge and working experience with SAP Data Services is a strong plus
  • Advanced or specialized training in BPC is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Practical understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements
  • Practical understanding of supporting infrastructure
  • Strong interpersonal skills in areas such as written and oral communication and team participation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the business on technical matters
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of data integration 
  • Maintains understanding of system/process trends and is able to apply when appropriate
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate peak workloads and travel
  • Fluency in English is required
