The Associate Specialist, Corporate Communications, will work directly with the Senior Manager of Global Corporate Reputation as a communications generalist to develop and implement both external and internal communication strategies and initiatives globally for The Firm of John Dickinson Schneider, Inc. (JDS Inc.), and its two operating subsidiaries, Hollister Incorporated and KMT Medical Incorporated. This position will help to ensure that unified, consistent, and clear communications define, promote, and champion the company’s 100-year-old history and the company’s enduring foundation—known as The Schneiders’ Legacy, which consists of three indispensable and inseparable components, Our Mission, Vision, and Immutable Principles. Hollister Incorporated is operating in a hybrid working environment.



  • Help support the execution of external and internal Corporate Communications strategies across multiple platforms globally.
  • Assist with writing and editing various communications materials including, but not limited to, press releases, social media copy, Intranet articles and employee communications.
  • Provide strategic global communications counsel to internal clients and Business Units.
  • Support special projects and events with creative storytelling as needed.
  • Coordinate global adherence and ongoing refinement to corporate brand guidelines/policies and review process in collaboration with Global Marketing and Regulatory leadership.
  • Liaise with external vendors and agencies to support real-time communications needs.
  • Other duties as required



  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2-5
  • Experience in either an agency or in-house corporate communications preferred.
  • Bachelors degree required; commensurate experience in Journalism, PR, Marketing and/or Communications.
  • Track record of successful communications and content creation.
  • Superb oral and written communications skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and act quickly to drive internal results.
  • Bias-toward-action and self-starter. Demonstrated ability to stay calm in high pressure situations.
  • Creative communicator with a passion for engaging content.
