SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for facilitating and building ongoing relationships with Acute Care nurses for the purposes driving advocacy of Secure Start Services in the hospital.  The Acute Care Coordinator will work in a regional capacity, collaborating with field sales, the Home Health Coordinator role, and Lifetime Service Coordinator role to support Acute Care nurses through inbound/outbound communication and field travel. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Acute Care Relationships – 30%

·            In partnership with field sales specialist, identify targeted acute care hospitals/facilities and appropriate acute care nursing contacts.

·            Maintain regular contact with Acute Care nurses within assigned territory.

·            Collaborate with field sales specialist to ensure consistent messaging and to drive advocacy of Secure Start Services.

·            Provide additional support to Acute Care nurses on issues/concerns as needed.

·            Provide feedback/updates to Acute Care nurses concerning progress/status of enrolled patients.

 

Service Execution – 30%

·              Provide education on Secure Start Services to support Acute Care nurse.

·              Provide additional follow-up (education and training) as needed.

·              Manage all regional inbound nurse calls and answer queue calls as needed.

·              Coordinate patient enrollment process with nurses as required.

 

Team Collaboration and Relationship Building – 25%

·         Partner with field sales specialists and home health coordinator to present Secure Start Services to identified targets within region.

·         Attend joint Acute Care/Home Health/Lifetime Services Coordinator team meetings as necessary.

·         Collaborate with Lifetime Service Coordinator and Home Health Coordinator to identify best practices to support the achievement of regional and team goals.

 

Travel – 10%

·         Co-travel with region at least 1 time per quarter.

·         Attend all annual North American Sales and Marketing meetings.

·         Attend National WOCN Conference.

·         Attend regional sales team meetings as necessary.

·         Attend Regional WOCN Conferences as necessary.

 

Additional Activities – 5%

·         Participate in all formal training sessions.

·         Attend additional training when required by team supervisor.

·         Attend regional UOAA meetings and lead a presentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Associate’s degree
  • Bachelor’s degree highly desirable
    Experience
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in a consumer or other inside sales position (preferably in healthcare) or equivalent work experience
    Technical Knowledge or other skill
  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Web-based applications and Windows-based navigation
  • SAP/CRM experience and CISCO applications desirable but not required
  • SAP Experience preferred
  • CRM Experience preferred
  • Cisco Experience preferred
  • EDW Experience preferred
  • Salesforce.com Experience preferred
  • Telemarketing/telesales experience within the healthcare industry, preferably Ostomy
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with emphasis on multi-tasking
  • Detailed Oriented
  • Results Orientation
  • Independent problem solving.
  • Work related experience in an end-user market.
  • Initiative – ability to drive continuous process improvement
