Clinical Education Specialist

Purpose:

• To establish Hollister and Dansac (and Continence are in near future) as the preferred choice for Clinical Education that strengthens customer relationships while helping to improve patient outcomes.

Primary Responsibility:

• Identify and build an actionable local clinical education strategy for the Ostomy product category (and Continence Care product category) based on Global clinical education strategy.  Partner with Global Ostomy Care team (and Global Continence Care team), as appropriate, to ensure continuity around the globe. Offering clinical resources for Ostomy (and Continence Care) business for both Dansac and Hollister brands (and Continence Care products).

Key clinical education programs and activities

• Create and deliver customized educational programs for key customer groups (end users, nurses, channel partners, decision makers, and national health services) to enhance the strength of Hollister and Dansac as a business partner in Japan.
• Creation and the delivery of effective educational programs that supports the sales and marketing objectives for both the Dansac and Hollister brands in Japan.
• Design educational tools and materials that meet customer needs based on assessments of clinical/end user groups
• Identify and implement new clinical programs that will differentiate Hollister as a business partner.
• Travel with Sales and Marketing professionals to mentor and provide direct feedback within clinical focus.
• Collaborate with Sales Management on field representative development.

Collaborate with critical functional areas within Hollister and Dansac

• Provide clinical input as it relates to the use of our products and positioning with key customer groups.
• Support development and education as it related to Hollister and Dansac products.
• Collaborate with Research & Development, Legal and Regulatory to provide clinical advice and input on the safe use and needs related to our products.
• Leverage clinical relationships to support sales goals (e.g., poster development, white papers, presentations, clinical evidence, market and clinical evaluations).
• Create and/or deliver customized educational programs.
