Work Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL

Hybrid: 3 days in office (Wednesday is mandatory)

Work Hours: 8:30am-5pm EST

Travel: 25%

 

Responsibilities:

The Clinical Navigator Program Leader will lead a team focused on providing comprehensive and dedicated support for customers, assisting them with their care, medical supply needs and helping them to adapt to life with a long-term spinal cord injury (SCI).  This includes advocating for the customer, providing education, and connecting them with applicable resources in their journey. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • AnchorProvide leadership to Navigator team, including setting of goals, training, managing day to day work, metric and tracking reporting, and making recommendations on how to maximize this service to best benefit potential customers and the company. 
  • Act as an advocate for the customer – spending significant time on phone, video, or chat with them and others who are involved in their care plan.
  • Build long-term relationships with each referral source, internal sales agent and customer who is involved in their care plan.
  • Build long-term relationships with providers and clinicians in SCI community.
  • Process product orders and provide support information as needed.
  • Train the customer or caregiver on how to use products.
  • Tailor solutions and provide resources that are specific to that individual’s needs.
  • Maintain and update specific content to appropriately support the SCI community.
  • Provide lifestyle support and answer questions the individual may have about insurance and/or applicable government programs.
  • Share options with the individual that are available to support them.
  • Ensure communications with the customer are easy, clear, and concise.
  • Attend key events as appropriate to support the individual as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 5-8 years of clinical experience
  • Deep understanding of disease state / understanding of someone with a disability.
  • Demonstrated success as a natural problem solver
  • Ability to work one-on-one with customers and build strong relationships
  • Experience engaging with customers about all aspects of life
  • Strong team player and able to lead others and work with groups both inside and outside the company
  • Ability to be resourceful – conducting own research for customers to find them the best solution

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of nursing program
  • Experience working with spinal cord injury customers or home health
  • Case management experience (Brightree or equivalent)
