Summary:

 

As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) focused on HR Systems, you'll be a crucial link between business requirements and technology solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, project teams, and development teams to define requirements, analyze processes, and ensure successful system implementations. Your proficiency in agile methodologies and SAP SuccessFactors will drive efficient enhancements to HR systems. Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid work environment. 

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with Product Managers and Project Managers to break down the annual roadmap into project plans with milestones.
    • Own key aspects of the roadmap, ensuring alignment across teams and business units.
    • Work closely with HR stakeholders to identify solutions for business problems related to HR systems.
  2. Agile Product Methodology:
    • Apply agile principles to HR system enhancements.
    • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
    • Facilitate communication between business users and development teams.
    • Elaborate scope and detail features required for HR system improvements.
  3. SAP SuccessFactors Expertise:
    • Analyze and evaluate business processes, recommending improvements aligned with best practices for HR functional modules in SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors.
    • Gather master data requirements and strategies to support the transition of HR data into SAP and SuccessFactors.
    • Update security roles within the SuccessFactors system.
  4. Change Management:
    • Support complex change initiatives related to HR systems.
    • Deploy change management best practices (e.g., SCRUM, Agile).
    • Apply critical thinking to gathered requirements.
  5. Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with various Data Management tools and processes.
    • Experience working with geographically distributed product owners.
    • Experience working with SuccessFactors, specifically Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, and Performance and Goal Management.
    • Integration experience: writing Functional Specifications, create test scripts and perform unit testing.
  6. Collaboration:
    • Conduct working sessions to clarify requirements and business terms.
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure intended software usage is well-defined.
    • Promote and implement automated testing for regression and functional tests.
    • Act as business relationship manager between HRIT and HR leadership to update system roadmap.

 

Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Fully competent in the principles and practices of Business Analysis 
  • Maintains current knowledge of business and technological trends. 
  • Flexibility in work schedule, off-hours for project implementation. 
  • Travel via plane or automobile both locally and internationally 

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or College Degree in Computer Science, Business, Education, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Technical, Management etc is preferred.
    • Certifications: IIBA, PMP, SCRUM, CSPO, CSM, 9000, ISO, PMI, ACP, CCBA. are preferred
    • Minimum 6 years of technology-related work experience.
    • At least 4 years of SuccessFactors experience, especially Employee Central. SuccessFactors knowledge is required.
    • Exposure to agile methodologies (Scrum Master experience highly desired).

 

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Agile Methodology:
    • Continuous Improvement and Continuous Delivery practices.
    • Scrum
  • Backend Technologies:
    • System SuccessFactors.
    • Data correctness/integrity testing.
  • Experience:
    • Interaction with clients and stakeholders to create business requirements.
    • Working with Boomi specialists on data extraction via the SuccessFactors API.
    • Extensive knowledge of SAP ECC HCM configuration (specifically in OM, PA, and PD).
    • SAP transactions (e.g., PFAL, CHARM, Solution Manager).
    • Working in an AGILE environment and using agile tools.
    • Troubleshooting and problem resolution.
