Summary

Plan, Lead, Administer Plant production requirements to assure optimum utilization of manufacturing facilities and streamlined supply of products to our customers from those facilities. Support the transition to Integrated Business Processes (IBP) in addition to improving supply chain performance

 

These efforts will contribute to the ongoing growth, improved profitability and the continuity of Hollister as an independent company.

 

Responsibilities

  • End to end planning and optimization of the supply chain planning impacting service, inventories and costs.
  • Partner with Plant Production Operations to ensure optimum utilization of personnel, materials and physical assets in alignment with total business objectives
  • Proactively manage supply chain risks and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Drives performance through regular KPI reviews – setting stretch targets, ownership & accountability
  • Facilitate the transition and development activities supporting product moves across facilities
  • Lead the Plant SOP process.
  • Support development of Global Process design, system interaction, and deployment as we transition to our new planning system Rapid Response and our upgraded ERP S/4HANA
  • Define & approve supply chain business rules & planning parameters, support network design optimization.
  • Formulate & Communicate tactical mid to long-term plans to support Commercial, Financial & Operational strategies 
  • Monitor supply chain performance, identify & drive improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with Network planners, Demand planners, Manufacturing & Commercial leadership to resolve demand and supply issues.
  • Accountable for all aspects of plant Raw Material Planning, Scheduling, and Warehouse Management
  • Build & deliver effective communications at all levels
  • Network to build relationships with key people: on-site, internal & external customers/ markets, key suppliers, Hollister corporate. 
  • Maintain open & immediate communications with the senior management team on critical operational issues.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Prolonged periods of sitting
  • Ability to interface with a computer for long periods of time
  • Frequent movement over large manufacturing floor areas
  • Travel requirements
  • Flexible work schedule with varying start/stop times across all shifts as needed

 

 

Work Experience Requirements

 

  • 5 + Years Experience in Supply Chain Management in a high volume, low unit cost manufacturing environment
  • Experience implementing & using Rapid Response planning system
  • Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing industry is preferred

 

 

Education Requirements

 

•           B.S. / B.A in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline.

  • Experience of leading / implementing change in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to organize resources at a strategic level
  • Ability to flex leadership and interpersonal styles
  • Cognitive ability to problem solve at a strategic level.
  • Good listening skills - adapt and learn as their career develops in Hollister.
  • Emotional intelligence - understand how one appears and impact of others on oneself.
  • Knowledge of ERP / MRP systems required.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
